Smalls is definitely a cool place, very loungy. There are more hard core jazz clubs out there, i.e Birdland and Village Vanguard, but they're kind of pricey. Smalls has a $10 cover and you can stay there for a looooong time. I think shows start at 9 or 10 pm and the place is on West 10th and 7th near the 1 Christopher Street Station. But go early, cuz the place gets really packed and seats go fast.

Trust me, there are definitely benefits to being the smartest one. Would you prefer my situation where I USED to be up there on top in high school and then found out in college that I'm just some mediocre student with horrendous grades compared to everyone else? Hell, make the best of your situation, be patient with the less fortunate students and get your easy grade. If you are really upset, consider transferring to a more difficult school. But if you do that, your ass might get kicked like mine is now.

Don't be a wuss! You're going to be scared when there are lives involved in this? Be bold and maybe if it helps you, think about the unborn baby. And if she asks you why you care so much then tell her that you don't want to see her mess up her life and tell her you have a soft spot for kids or something.

Maybe you should consider explaining to her the amount of time and energy and effort needed to be a parent. Ask her whether or not she would want the best for her child as any mother should. Then help her to explore the options that vixenfoxxy noted. Good luck!

I feel your pain. Tell her that you think it would be best to remain friends and not to possibly ruin your friendship by getting involved. Honesty is the best policy and if you remain uninterested in her in that way, she will cool off after a while. But be open about it!
