No seriously, I'm going to the best place to hit on a Sunday night, gonna work my weekend around it. MODERN!!!! (yeah I know, DJ whore....... promoting fellow CPers..... ) It's nice and chill and they have some serious scotch there, perfect for a Sunday evening. Oh and that DJ guy isn't that bad either.

Best Indian food I think would have to be the Bombay Club on Con. Ave downtown. You have to get dressed up to get in, but the service is excellent and the prices for an Indian rest. are not bad. Best Italian Rest. would have to be I Ricchi.... super expensive, but the food kicks ass!! Yeah I think that's it, oh and the best beer in the world has got to be Caffereys Irish!!!!

Ok, the Vicman responded to the initial posting, so............ I chalk the night up to one bad experience out of how many??? So I you've got to figure they would take some measures to correct the problem they had. There was just two problems with the statement. 1. The ticket holders line was longer and moving slower than the non ticket holders line - thus why we all stayed in it. 2. They failed to mention, perhaps not realizing.... although I don't know how they couldn't... the fact that the place was too overcrowded. If you're going to sell tickets to an event, then you should know how many non ticketed people you can let in. N'est pas??? The problem was not only the line, but the amount of people in the club. If they had the outside patio open I still don't think there would have been enough room!! That was the most crowded I've evey seen it and frankly a fire-marshall could have shut the place down easily. There should be a limit to how many people you let in. If you sell out, you sell out. Tough luck. My $.02

Buster... excellent selection last night!!!!! You really put together a good set. Brian and I were sitting in the back bouncing like crazy and watching people enjoy the music. Fun night!! I love that place, perfect for a Sunday evening. Nice little lounge area, good music, good selection of Scotch. Hmmmmmmm. Definitely checking it out again this weekend.

We're not trying to stop you from coming back. We're just venting frustration over how our nice club has turned into the freakin freak joint!!! I was standing in line and when the 20-30 dudes and there fucking disgusting dates hoped in front of me, like RIGHT in front of the security guard, they were asking each other "who is in there?", "Who is this Carol Cox guy and who are these other people?", "Why are we here?" "Oh, we're hear because everyone else is, but this place really sucks... Dream is better." "Yo, they play hip hop in here?" This is the reason we're so mad. You see the people in NY, or well sometimes, well anyone that was at Danny Howells for Labor Day understands a crowd that appreciates a DJ. Yes there were some people really messed up, but for the most part everyone was there to enjoy the music. This did not happen on Friday night. I walked around and there were WAY too many people that were SO fucked up they should have just turned the place into an ER room. People were not repecting eachother, which is a staple or for the most part something everyone does. This was the first night when I felt like people were being assholes and didn't give a shit about the other people there. Usually people are very nice and everyone is having a good time. Friday night I hope was a one time thing, I don't know if it was the college kids or what, but more people are starting to come that don't give a shit about the music or respecting other people. They are simply coming because it is THE place to be on Friday. We all will be going back, and hopefully the next time we will not be complaining. The music was for the most part REALLY good. What I got to hear. It was a fun night, over all. We liked having you come up Nurishment, was cool of you to hangout till like 7. We hope you come up more often. Don't let our rambling effect your decision to come back up, we just know the club from better times and better crowds. We're hoping it was a one night thing. So.....................................................

You may get some better responses than this, but here's what happened in a nutshell. Got there at 11:30 didn't get in until 2 Thirty freakin dudes and 4 bitches jumped the line right in front on me Missed all of Scott Henry, heard he was REALLY good. I got one drink...... Carol Cox came on and you couldn't move...... WAY too many people...... got VIP from some nice girl that took pity on me.... spent a majority of the night going back and forth between the back room(VIP) and the dance floor. Basically when I got sick of all the people I left the floor. Umm..... what else. Basically it was a fucked up night. Good things that happened: Carol Cox was excellent, got VIP, there were a lot of people from the board there, met Nurishment, and the rest of the board, pissed off the guy that ditched us by having after hours at his place, while he was sleeping!!!!!!! Yeah, that's it. Someone else can give you more details, I was sober and upset with the whole evening...... That's my take on the shit. But I did get to see Carol Cox.

Ummmmmmmmm I think it was in like December or something like that..... perhaps Malanee can tell you more. We used to go and see DJ Buster spin from like 1 or 2 till close...... most people left when he came on, some stayed, it was more of a Hip Hop crowd... Anyways, I can't beleive that there will not be a cover.... That is bs.... no way!!! I'm sure it'll be like $10 - $15. Could be less though........

Last time I went they told me it was the last time I could get in with a t shirt, and it was a nice gray Brooks Brother t shirt too The only reason I got in was cause I was on the DJ's list............ And depending on the crowd they can close the place down at anytime. Sometimes we get them to stay open pretty late, like after 4, but usually they would close before then. Don't really think they stay open till 5. So Vic since you know everything....... how much is the door cover???

I'm WAY off, but I don't have the CDs here, they're in my car..... but anyways, that sample is really cool and it makes sense.... people use music for so many reasons
