Yes I did happen to catch Krush's set at my favorite club eleven50. It was slightly disappointing...he was only on for like an hour or so. But the crowd was the most diverse mix of people that I've seen come out for an event in Atlanta. We had an equal mix of ravers, clubbers, guys in business suits, hippies, hiphop heads, IDM mafioso, etc. It was just a great mix of people and styles. Krush performed his new stuff mainly, I wanted to hear more Meiso type of tracks but we can't get what we want all the time tho. Last month I caught Plaid down here! Now THAT was awesome...despite the great downtempo/IDM like talent I've seen, nothing even COMPARES to Kruder and Dorfmeister at Rain. I'm happy I have the chances to see all these artists tho.

Heh...tonight I will be seeing Miguel Migs, Mauricio Aviles & Lisa Shaw. Friday I will be seeing PAUL JOHNSON!! Next Thursday it will be LAZY DOG and BEN WYATT. The Friday following I will be seeing MARK FARINA!!! <insert gloat> Anyway...the best Mark Farina mix to me so far is his "Aug. 2000" mix. 2 hours of him BRINGING it!! I command all of you to download it now!!! Connected is a good album, though its a little different from the usual style I'm used to hearing on his mixes. Its definitely good so get that as well. Live at the End is another good one that you all should d'load if you haven't already. Make your promoters bring this man down to Miami, he'll have you smiling at least for 2 weeks afterwards thinking about the good music and vibes that seem to follow him everywhere. The cool heads seem to come out of the woodworks for Mark, and I can't WAIT to see him next week.

No the Hex Hector rmx sucks, unless you want the proggy version. Get the Poundboys white label mix. Thats the more housier one that Roger Sanchez loves to spin.

Marco V was scheduled to play a party here in Atlanta at the Globe. When he was at the airport he got detained at customs. He didn't have his proper documentation and he is now banned from the States for 10 years. Man it was the best party of WMC for me...Dmitri from Paris all night long upstairs...The lounge room in Crobar was perfect for Dmitri. Except it smelled like feet. Other than that it was truly a memorable time. Watching the NY DragQueens dancing to Dmitri was awesome as hell too! Tedd Patterson and Lil Louie were awesome...all of em were awesome!!! They took me on a journey... When Patterson (or was it Louie) dropped "Days Like This" you shoulda seen the big ass smile on my face. Magic Sessions at Crobar was definitely the best clubbing experience I've ever had. Me and my friends made a pact...we're all going to try to meet up at Magic Sessions every year for WMC even if we don't all go down together. It was that spiritual...and all of us felt it (10+ people). So in other words...BE THERE NEXT YEAR!

The remix you're need to download is done by the Poundboys. Yeah. I went to the Chez party at Rain. It was cool, it was a nice little warm up for Magic Sessions.

If you're talking about the beat during the first 15 seconds or so then yeah...i've heard that mixed and abused more times than I care to try to remember. From what I recall tho, the techno djs seem to mix it better.

"Days Like This"-Shaun Escoffery I think it might have been the DJ Spinna and Ticklah rmx. but I'm not sure. Man...that track is the SHIT!!! And I can't wait to hear it at a club again. Do yourself a favor...use Audiogalaxy. Morpheus has been ass for a long time now.

I've heard Wink play "Freak" out a few times. And I dig it when he does play it...he usually brings it in at the right time. I downloaded Wink's "Freak." I downloaded Bell's "Phreak" I listened to both. Wink's does not sound like a rip off of Bell's.

I think the episode was so-so. I mean they made it seem that Homer had never smoked pot before when there was obvious usage in the past episodes. Plus I expected to hear a little more from Phish...they didnt say anything. It wasnt bad, but I think the episode would have been ALOT cooler if it was done 3 or 4 years ago. The Guatemalan Chilli Pepper episode remains as my favorite.

That was one of THE top tracks I heard all during the conference. And that "I Love Days Like This" track....beautiful!!
