so, is anyone going to tell me why it is that a man has to prove he's rich enough to buy a ring but the woman doesn't have to prove the same?

*confused* i thought the whole point of the "Bump and ..." Forum was to post inane and random stuff. if people don't like Sassa's posts, then they won't reply to them... and they'll sink to the bottom of the thread lists. if they DO choose to involve themselves in the threads and it turns ugly, then they can be moved to Drama. i don't see what the problem is, exactly, unless she starts creating multiple useless posts for the sole reason of clogging up the board space. on the other hand, one would hope that people would be mature enough to handle their personal differences in PMs. oh wait, this is CP.

...and i still wonder why *some* women think the man should need to prove his financial stability by buying an expensive trinket, but women don't have to do the same thing. shouldn't both people be financially secure before they marry?

almost! so close! but i couldn't get past a certain sticking point. being able to do pullups is one of my relatively "long term" goals. i've never been able to do 'em before, even in grade school when my body weight was half what it is now, so the fact that i've made progress is very exciting.

when i get engaged, i want to have an EXCHANGE of some sort... ie, both people wear rings, or bracelets, or whatever. so why is it that it's only the *man* who needs to prove he's financially viable?... unless, of course, you're planning to rely on your spouse to support you rather than sharing in the expenses of living together.

i disagree with what Chula said. if your lover specifically says that a certain activity on your part is something s/he considers cheating, then you're cheating if you do it. EVEN if it's something as ridiculous as, say, eating a peanut butter sandwich. now, one certainly has a right to disagree and break up with the person if you can't adhere to his or her definitions of cheating, but engaging in a behaviour that you know hurts your lover's feelings and breaks down trust between you two is malicious-- even if it involves something that YOU don't happen to consider cheating.

it's weird, though... you'd think that if someone was really awkward physically in general, they'd also make a physically awkward lover. great sex is often a function of coordination, timing, and grace imO.

if a guy's girlfriend has told him she doesn't want him getting lapdances because she CONSIDERS it cheating, and then he goes out and gets one... then it's cheating! 'nuff said.

while taking a holiday on a bay somewhere when i was 7, i once caught a whole lotta little crabs and put them in a catbox filled with salt water and rocks and stuff... ... but overnight it rained and the newly brackish water killed them all. :/

can you only get crabs from another person? i thought i read somewhere that you can get 'em by lying in the grass naked or something... but if they live by sucking on the blood of animals, i dunno how that would be possible. *edit* okay yeah i just looked it up... you can only get it from another person, or if they're on bedsheets, clothes, etc. lice can live a week without a host before they die.

when i used to get my eyebrows waxed, they'd spread some soothing lotion on afterwards. do they do that for you after having your pink bits done?! i would think that might be a bit embarassing.
