Clubs are in the business to sell alcohol and make $$$$, not play the newest tracks out. Girls attract guys, so playing girl music is good. If you can do both at once, more power to you, but selling liquor and making money and appealing to the masses will always take precedence over playing "new music", unless the club owner wants to be a non-profit organization.
