  6. the stories I could tell
  7. On a related subject ... if you ever get any ticket, never ever use their pay by phone option. You leave the supermarket, drive one block out of the lot and dont have the seat belt on. $40 non moving violation ticket. You pay by phone for the $40 ticket way before the due date. 7 days after it was due, they said they didnt get it and wanted over $750. Ended up getting "lucky" walking away at about $350 in fines (everyone else with unpaid fix-it tickets were stuck with $500 to $750+).
  8. If youre passed out on the side of a street with ur face in the lap of a hot brazilian chick, then aint gonna take ur breath nor give u the high five. Theyll book u for Pub Intox, take u in, and probably give u about $200-500 fine depending on the city.

  10. No problem. Basically ... to be analytical about it .... in every market, there are different venues, different djs, even different ways to design nightclubs, to appeal to different market segments of clubgoers. Venue owners, correction succesful venue owners, design, market, and implement venues that really appeal to a particular type or types of clubgoer. If you dont know who ur client base is, your market base, who your customer is and what they want, and you give them something that is not for their market, you will fall flat. Nightlife, for guys, is not "guys are after one of two things in a club, to get drunk or/and to get laid". Nightlife is far more than that, the venues are designed for each clubgoers' approach to nightlife, and routinely venues for normal and afterhours are finding new approaches through the conceptualization and marketing stages on how to carve out new market segments.
  11. ur ever go for afterhours in China or Ktown for kareokee (sp) that starts at 2 am when all the hot asian girls start signing and they pour soju til the sun rises?
  12. Add also SundayAfterhours @ Seemless. Empire Sat Afterhours do it when Faarsheed does his 6 hour sets.
  13. As someone once posted .. think it was late last year ... many will tell you that before Tao, BE was #1 in Vegas, not Pure. People really really love it and rightfully so.
  14. As someone like myself who has been partying several times a week for many, many years, I still find it restricting. Irresepctive of the city, the greatest times Ive had with bottle service is when it gave me an opportunity to be with people I hadnt seen in many months, some in many years, and of course some new faces (mainly girls) all around a table, getting smashed, catching up, hitting on friends of friends lol. For that, it was wonderful. ... And of course the times you have just random chicks in our booth, well thats fun too. But a crowded dancefloor can shadow ur wandering hand moves as much as a table top
  15. I believe nmn took credit for it.
  16. Pillows take top billing in LA. jk
  17. Some people like to "wing it" ... do thinggs on the come .... or cant decide with their group ahead of time. Others personally take joy preparing which venue, which night, how many venues per night, making sure its the best venue for their taste ... .making sure they hit up the venue at the certain hour of the night that they would like to go. Clubgoers can vary in Vegas from .... the 12 guys that wait in the line for the doors to open at ...... <choke> ....Light waving bills .... versus the person who is rushing over to Tryst from Tao and will walk in with hookups without waiting and looks forward to seeing you and your friends that they met earlier at Tao later at Drais after they see a set they cant miss at Empire. Its like comparing the juiced up Jersey boy that sits by the pool at Rehab hoping to get a girl to touch his bicep but cant tell youz spinning versus the midwest kid that goes just for the drinks and scottys set.
  18. http://bbs.clubplanet.com/showthread.php?t=295663 If you have any questions about particular venues, post back. We are all here to help.
