We are extremely impressed by the staffing and treatment so far. Really nice people. Triq is located inside Aladdin/Planet Hollywood and features Afterhours certain nights.

And what is said is that a lot of those guide sites are ad/placement supported, so you read something and think its great. Unbenowest to you someone paid to have their spot headlined that way, irrespective of how good it is.

Reports indicate today that because of Imus' telecast (in general) MSNBC was just about to pass CNN for the first time ever in morning ratings in the channel's history. So of course, NBC Morning news is running promo after promo about "exclusive" interviews with Imus tomorrow. Sharpton's mouthing off is cheaper publicity for MSNBC to pass CNN than buying ad space for the Superbowl.

People are always jealous of people who live in LA for really one top reason - our weather. Im out of town currently and everyone I meet tells me they want to leave their city and move to either San Diego, San Fran, or LA.

His scratching skills are amazing. But how he dj'd the night was afoul. He spent the early part of the night creating no vibe by in essence grandstanding scratch after scratch and basically not playing a track. If you wanted to get into your musical vibe of the night EARLY on you couldnt because all you heard was scratch after scratch. Scratching has its place later in the night but to do a procession of non stop scratching early and not give you an opportunity to hear music, its not appealing. I personally got up and left as many others did too.

Considering this is NOT the board it once was where people use to be helpful, no drama, and could take a joke - and now since winter has become a trash talking name calling forum of haters where other people do little to nothing to review venues, update people about afterhours or new venues, or similar but do take every opportunity to say stupid hating comments- there is no reason to post any further. I dont hate, never have, and where there is nothing but hate going on, there is no reason to stay. . Done.
