Greenie's got owned. MDW - Your comments are disrepectful, unsupported statements that are false. Greenie of recent has been on a hate campaign of lalate posts. A mere search of his username's posts will reveal that many/most of them are hate responses of name calling and junk toward lalate.

hahhaah Im in the midwest currently, I have only seen one latina since Ive been here, seen white chick bachelorette party waving a black dildo through the nightclub's grandopening taking turns grinding up against the bruthas and me ... but I met a white chick who's a latin dance instructor if that counts - check in for an update on that next week.

I went to their opening day block party. InCREDIBLE time.

This is a gorgeous new venue that lalate attended during its opening week and thereafter. The venue is situation in a famous old bank that thereafter became an equally famous recording studio. If you remember Joya from a few years back, this venue has a similar floorplan of a raised loft layout. What sets this venue above the rest in new venue openings the last 18 months is this venue seeks to bring the outside in through light, rather than opt for the traditional dark decore and dim approach. The owners brought in massive windows that surround the venue, and have an expansive patio off a glassed entrance. The decore is modern yet all in a sandstone atmosphere. Another triumph is the dj's situation. He/she is placed perched above the door's entrance. In essence, this is a dj's venue because the enter focus of this (corner lot) structure is that front door and the dj's space. The crowd is lacking. The venue definitely needs some serious promoters to come in a do an industry night (which is what lalate has suggested) because the meals are great but the attendance is already slow and the venue is not reaching capacity when we arrived. Overall, a great designed new venue that has huge potential with the entry of the right crowd.

Thanks Had the most amazing/unusual bday weekend eva considering im out of town..... Friday - went to two business meals and had so much comp'd cake I passed out haha. Saturday - by accident, stumbled upon a huge grand opening party for a new nightclub .... comp'd cover, $5 tall mixed drinks, and the bartender chick through me free drinks on top of that. DJ was one of the best djs ive heard in a while -- he basically did mashup doing about 10 seconds of an oldschool track and then 10 seconds of a new track (always different genres against each other)... The stuff he pulled off was great - Guns and Roses going into a Nelly Furtado track, Celebration Cool and the Gang going into a JT. Sunday - went to this at least 5,000+ mile long block party for the opening season of baseball... never personally ever experience that so that was a great time.

There have been pool parties at MGM for several years, none of which have been memorable and one of which I remember being posted as cancelled. Chatter of them are in the archives on this site. Each year there are new attempts around the city.

In addition, think of an upgrade in Vegas in the same mindset as negotiating a room rate in any other city. I negotiated three rates in the last two days for myself (not in Vegas), and have cut down rates in one case more than 30%. Negotiating room rates is the same approach as negotiating room upgrades in Vegas

hahaha good stuff hehetma lol .... .... merely putting a tip on the counter and asking for an upgrade generally doenst cut it (at least not for me) - and in most times they choose not to take my tip. There is no format to how you do it, but if you have some level of creativity, and think it out before you walk up, and the situation is prime, you can pull off some sort of upgrade at minimum. Consider who you are arriving with, when you are arriving (not just the date, but the hour), and what the purpose of your request is for. Put yourself in the shoes of the person taking the request. "Why would I give a single male arriving for 4 days an upgrade on a slow weekday?" Understand 1. how (by staffing) they effectuate an upgrade 2. what type of upgrades they have 3. why they would upgrade 4. why they wouldnt** upgrade Its really not that hard at all, if you think iwth a fast and open mind. But if you say something to the counter verbatim that some dood told you on a messageboard to say, you wont get junk.

After posting my personal bday party here in March 2005, the thread was moved out of the LA forum and lalate became ******.
