Next to the convention center ... between the convention center and Harrahs 1/2 mile down, you have a 4 lane road with probably a 5-10K square foot parking lot and several others. None of em had water, or debris. You could see them in all the reports. There was room everywhere arround the convention center to land, drop and smilar.

Everyone that is the line of chain of govmt that could have helped and hasnt or did so too late should walk iin and just resign.

So explain to me this. You got an entire convention center of 15K dieing of starvation and dehydration on Wed. How long does it take to fil up a b52 bomber at the closest airforce base with food ratios and air drop that food on the street in front of the convention center? That could be done in 1/2 day, tops. By wednesday evening. To think you live your entire life, stuggling to raise a family, have grandkids, be a model citizen, survive a cat5 catastrophe... and you are left to die of starvation or dehydration ... in America?.

I just came back to read your post today. Ive been on the ranch for vacation for 5 days....... ..... Allegedly its going to come out that one of the Bushes (sr or jr) vetoed/blocked the bill or similar that would have given funding for a Cat 5 levee when it came up a few years ago. He didnt want it.

A couple things to mention (one I'll leave tll after the holiday). But this one is important ..... When visiting to vegas this weekend, when you check in, if you have something expensive in your bag, dont give it to the porter to bring up to your room, bring it yourself. Police told one of my good friend's closest friend this week that theft of suitcases from Porters in hotels does occur and is not out of the ordinary. In this case, the girl checked into one of Vegas #1 hotels, gave the suitcase to the porter with the other luggage, got her ticket, went to the room. Went the porter arrived (different porter, as is customary), one suitcase was gone. Inside that suitcase, an item of great sentimental and monetary value. Laptops, jewelry, ids, etc - be sensible. Carry it to your room.
