Large Groups of Guys In nightlife, girls are king. And if guys predominate your group, youre "mainly a group of guys". 5. Large Groups of Girls Better than a large group of guys. But a large group is still seen as "oh, not another large group". 6. Im So in So. B- celebs are no celebs. 7. Really Large Groups (30+) Not a positive generally. Generally a negative. 8. Our group is still debating about ... If youre group can book an airline ticket, you can get them to decide on a club in advance too. Read, research, ask, and be informed. And dont decide at 8 pm as you are heading out the door. 9. Ive heard the lines are really long. Whatever you hear is generally correct. Remember, hearing about a line of 7,000 people is nothing. Standing in it for several hours on your feet, dressed up, back against a wall, probably with no drink, getting randy with no one to talk to, is not a pretty picture.

This misinformation about guestilsts for Pure Thurs - Sat is just wrong. For Thurs-Sat do not, repeat, not bother with any guestlist for Pure. There is not linepass gueslist for Pure those nights, repeat none. People walk up every weekend so giddy that they are on a guestlist and then their whole faces change when they learn what they got themselves into. And then you have to see their faces several hours later, with no certainty as to when they are getting in Even on the viphost side, one needs to be up to date on changes to door policies. PM me.

Good article. People from LA go to Vegas regularly. You pull up at the Paris and all you see is Lexus of Santa Monica and Beverly Hills BMW and Fletcher Jones Mercedes Benz. Some are there to party. Some go just to relax, shop, do the spa. Some go from multiple industry conventions throughout the year. You go to dinner in LA, someone at the table is going to Vegas, just got back, or knows someone that is going. When Im in a Vegas club, I can tell who's from LA quite often. There is a look, a sense. There is a whole .... aura of freedom that you will never see written in any article that transfers from an la clubgoer to a Vegas venue. LA people arent tame. But when they are in Vegas, they definitely shed several skins. And the minute the cross back into California, those skins are back on. You go to gyms in LA, you meet people that regularly fly up just to go to Rehab and get back on the plane that evening. With air fare as low as 94 with a 48 hour advance, anyone can do that. Anyone can open an LA venue in Vegas. But it doesnt always transfer.

One pass that gets you into mulitple pclubs? No such thing. (The eurail pass concept will never hit it big in Vegas lol jk).

Someone told you that you can pay for passes so you dont have to pay to get into the club? wtf lol

You can have a laugh and find the threads here where this year for 2005 MMDW we were being told dj changes as late as 3 days before the weekend. lol.Even the night of Peters I was asked twisted if it was changing from costume to noncostume - we had no idea lol.

I have to say ........... last night I tried do LA in a way I havent done in ages, I did it the way I do Vegas. I will have to say, after almost 10 hours of partying, we had the most amazing time !!!!! If you ever want to, you can do it sooooooo right in any city, any night (Im shocked I can type lol jk). 8- 11 Bird 11 - 2 + Vertigos 2- 5+ Avalon afterhours Bird is one of the best bars ever. A bar that pulls a ton of young Hollywood stars and starlettes, its marked generally (but not this night) by a cavalacade of hot young girls drinking it up and laughing street side. Strong drinks, one of the nicest staffs ever, and on this night poured it nice and tall and strong Vertigos. The venue that lalate first made popular several years ago is back as good as ever. This is the venue that lalate first was able to drag westsiders off of the Strip and into downtown for, and now, its better than ever. A two room club nestled in the hills of skyscrapers that delivers hot hot latinas, powerful powerful and cheap drinks, and an amazing sound system. I luv the people behind vertigos I vertigos which now adds to its 80s room, yes 80s (the venue that in la first perfected the format before anyone else), live coverband review in the middle of the night - No Doubt, Depesche Mode (sp), and more. I luv the 80s, I luv the girls that luv the 80s, and we all luv Vertigos ... and dont forget one of those hotdogs outside No cover with lalate all night, drink promotions. Avalon Afterwards. First, we love how we got in. We saw this promoter we knew coming to party and getting compd. So after they did, we asked the person geting comp'd if we can just pay discounted cuz we know that promoter - and he said "im so sorry you know her too" lolllllll. What a hoot. And in we go. Tonight was not Castro's night. And I gotta say the crowd was horrible. 99.99% guys, of one ethnicity, averaging 45 years old. And if I saw one more middle age guy with cut abs and his shirt open and sunglasses on, get up and dance on a table I was gonna deck him with my waterbottle. fck lol. The music in the mainroom was so friggen good but the patio the music was absolutely incredible. And the patio's vibe Definitely not the crowd I was looking for, wanta check out the alternative nights to see the difference
