I don't know where you were all WMC ... but all the parties I hit were Deep Soulfull House and brokenbeat/nu jazz. I don't dislike techno ... I enjoy it on occasion, but saying tech is taking over is a long shot, really.

If you don't like their sound, then you just don't like to have fun, that's all Of course they're not the latest-greatest-thing to save Rock'n'Roll. Who the hells wants to do that? I do find them entertaining, though ... and the songs are wicked.

The only thing worth watching on that MTV Europe awards is THE DARKNESS!!!

I *HATE* Tenacious D ... what a bunch of pretentious crap ... acting glib and flippant is not comedy ... it's annoying. I haven't seen the School of Rock thing yet, but I did hear it's a pretty good movie. Maybe I'll check that out, but I still think I'll dislike Jack Black.
