  1. Had a great time that night too. My legs still hurt. Even with all the new clubs that have opened in Miami over the last couple of years, I still prefer I/O to most of them. Keep the AquaBooty events coming through there. And of course ... thanks to the DHM crew for warming up the place.
  2. Back to work again ... I just want to get up and dance!
  3. Not that impressed ... sounds like the original tune with a new kick and snare ... and copious amounts of "OhmBoys" VST plugin.

  5. Thanks Phillippio! Yeah, second time at Sunset Sessions for me ... heading down there any minute now. If any of y'all CP folks are roaming the beach around 8pm or so, stop by and listen in. Hope to see the usual suspects in there as we start off our week-end.
  6. I've seen Wink twice ... once at a big rave, and once in a little club. Both times he was excellent and the sets were crazy funky. I'd love to catch his halloween set ... but the thought of having to deal with Space lines and door hassles makes it unlikely.
  7. Unfortunately I'll still be on this damn cruise on Friday ... but I'll be there next week. Hold it down fellas and keep the vibes fresh until I get back.

  9. Bellsouth was great over the last 5 years or so that I've had DSL with them, but last month they moved me from my Bridged connection to PPOE and now shit is much slower than before. Plus, they didn't even tell me they were moving me off the bridged setup, and when I was down for 3 days as a result of it they tried to charge me $80 for a support visit to just come to the house and tell me "oh yeah, you're PPOE now, so you have to authenticate." Meh! But still, no way I'm going over to Cable.
  10. I'll be there ... it better be krunk up in that biatch!! :-)
  11. Hey yeah, almost forgot about that Rustica expedition. Next time you dudes head out for pizza while I'm on the decks you have to at least bring me back a slice of the Potato and Rosemary 'za! Alan, I think you got the most hassles that night (although I have to say I caught some dudes headnoddin' on the patio a bit when they thought no one was lookin'). At least the ladies looked to be into it ... you should have tried to confuse them all by dropping the disco earlier See y'all next week ...
  12. Wow ... it sure was Koochie Krunk on Souf Beatch that night! Good seeing you out again Carlos. Thanks again for the hospitality Stratus! If y'all haven't seen it yet, the lounge at The Chesterfield is a nice little spot. Definitely make an effort to stop by there next Friday and have an early night drink or two. James is doing us all a favor providing a venue to check out some different styles, so if you're heading to South Beach on Fridays, head out an hour earlier and stop by for a drink before you hit the mega clubs.
  13. BOH! Nice little vibe in there last week (excluding of course the unnamed CP'er who had a little too much blue drink and covered the bathroom with it later) ... heheh. But yeah, come by for the happy hour thing. Resonable drinks, nice lounge, good tunes.
  14. Full details and pictures are here --> http://www.boosted.com/cabrio/ So yeah, hate to see this little car go, but it's time to try something different. If anyone is interested, get in touch with Amie.

  16. So I walked into a bar last week-end and thought I'd have some fun and tell the patrons there a joke. I asked the bartender, "Hey, wanna hear a joke?" She replied, "Listen, before you go telling some dumb blonde joke, just make sure you realize that my hair is blonde if you didn't notice, and my sister who works here is blonde, and my best friend sitting at the end of the bar there is blonde, and so is her boyfriend, and the owner is a blonde, too. So just be careful if you're going to go and tell some dumb blonde joke." At that point I said, "o.k. then, forget it ... I don't want to have to explain the punch line five times!"
  17. I heard Miami Beach made a deal with Ft. Lauderdale to trade WMC for the Air and Sea show ... and Ultra will be held in Key West during Fantasy Fest. And yeah, the White Party has been moved to Clamatis St. and will occur on Halloween.
  18. See ... that's the only thing that really keeps us from checking out one of those parties ... LAME MUSIC. Random nudity and girl on girl sounds great, but if you have to suffer through the Party93.1 greatest hits all night the mood would be seriously hurt. Now, if they teamed up with some promoters who have a good idea on what's banging in the underground musically, the parties would be more promising.
  19. My first night at The Delano ... nice atmosphere! Got there a bit early, chilled out and listened to Induce do his thing, caught up with some friends I haven't seen in a bit, heard Agape do an o.k. set, but wish the laptop had a bit better quality on the sound, and then sat beack to hear Escoffrey do his soul thing. All in all it was a good performance, just wish he had been a bit more uptempo with the performance, but hey, at least he did Space Rider! Thanks for the work Aquabooty heads ... gonna try and make it to a couple more of these before they're done.
  20. You guys are all talking South Beach, but you didn't specify, so ... my gym is up in North Beach (near my neighbourhood) on Collins and 74th. It's called Med-Fit and it's a great place. Way cheaper than the gyms down in South Beach ($300 a year) and the staff there are really cool. The gym is in an old theatre, so the setup is kinda cool. The equipment is in the orchestra pit and the classes are held up on the stage. Anyways, that's where I am three times a week after work
  21. We're all into electronic music, so perhaps this will be appreciated by the CP folks ... The soundtrack is just so different from normal ads. I think there's something new going on here. http://media.hugi.is/hahradi/fyndnar/werbung.mpg
