So frankie and i forget who now were driving downa a hideway and they stop at a stop sigh and frannnnkie looks at a bar with a sign that says "WE PLAY HOUSE MUSIC HERE" he turns to someone in the car and ask yo lets go inside whats this house music sound from that bar. The guy tells frakie YOU DONT KNOW nad frankie is like know what? Hes like dude its your music that youi play at the wareHOUSE. People were using the term it seems b4 frankie knew it himself. Also i saw all these responses for frankie knucles i was like what the hell since when is this board smarting up lol. Frankie does play cielo on certain sundays i dont know when is the next one. Here my take on these parties. MON francios covers many genres of music and make it all go well together from reggae to deepouse ot drum and bss to techno to house to ambient music. Crowd wise now thats a different story. A yr or almost half a yr ago i think it was a great crowd now its ful of yuppies and trendy people who are theirfor CIELO not francios but theydo have a goodtime. Just being surrounded by them last week made me and my rineds leave after 2 hrs back to sapphire cause they were just ridiculous. I mean dude its like bottles and models in their on mon with some cool people. Wed- roots party with louie vega and kevin hedge and guests is amazing. Crowd wise you will find people their to DANCE not PRANCE. Seems like all the CIELO crowd is scared to be surrounded by people in sweats with baby powder on the floor ready to sweat. This month they have al lot ofguest djs since louie is on tour with E.O.L.. SAT- Vibal with tedd patterson is incredible musically but its also once a month. Crowd wise is slit in half but with more being posers but thats cuase of the door policy. Seriously tedd doesnt get enough credit in nyc sometimes or lately but hes no joke. tribal with some deep house and the occasonal jazzy tribal. Ask kutekimmie i took her to hear tedd once and she loved him.

i give it a 7 out of 10. Musically it was fun crowd i couldnt complain i had alot of my friends and met some new ones. But after having some very very hard sex for like 5 hrs b4 getting there to roxy myleg and energy were long gone. Still manage to have fun and stayed until closing. Most of the night me and my peeps were behind the bar doin our thing until the floor cleared out the nonsense. From 830 or truly great music and lots of space to dance but by then i was done lol. Couple moves here and thee thats it. Kimmie was dancing all night and big ups to this asian kid i met who danced his ass off an has some awesome moves. Says he posts alot on raveclick. defintley the only reason to go to deep is for the monthly 718 sessions with danny krivit. And the next one is july18th see ya there peoples. 6pm ill 1 or 2am.

there are lots of cool asians in the scene people. Your probably thinkin bout all the druggies who are rude i agree they are bothersome but its not all of them.

i hear tony draper and johhny vicious spin over at HARD and its that loud fast hard music. Basicaly not my style.

i always go solo but know many danny fans inside. Its better this way i dont have to worry bout anyone ruining my chnaces of getting there. And once im inside all my peoples who share the love of dancing and dt will be there. on 8th street (nyc) in front of bang bang near au bo pain on that colored brick wall during the evening. In my old salons waxing room bed. In Zando/Cosi 12th and 6th,Websterhall, tunnel, soundfactory(46st), le souk, china club, roxy,filter 14, opium dens dancefloor and/or bathrooms. Real estate office at my pt job but got caught by the cops.I havent even thought about trying anything since then. Having 3 guns in my face scared me a bit.

Its funny how in everyother messageboard that i posted this on people knew what i meant and know what type of person i am. It seems like if you know me personlly you would see that your over reacting. For work i use to manage a hair salon in the upper east side for 4 yrs. Now i work on weekends at a real estate office and i also do work in movies,tv shows and video as a dancer. Seriuolys people who dont let this topic die already all im asking is for you to compare everynight youve had clubbing wise and then compare it to one 718 SESSIONS party at deep (next one is july18h) and tell me you dont see and feel the difference. Also aug 18th go to crobar when this party will happen again and see what im talkin about first hand.

Holy shit what a party,like typical filter action it didnt really pic up until 12ish or so then the energy in that room was insane. Lots of arc heads as well and just some great music with awesome peoples. Truly a great night. Kim you were dancing the whole time i believe. Im exhsuted from mon,weds,thur. NO partying until DT at roxy.

yet again i will miss being there. But at filter myfirneds have a big annivesary party that i cant miss. Damn i dont even remember when was the last imt i as there.Hpeful nothing will stop me next month. I was actually dancgin with some fo brian grens studets at crobar last weds much fun.

oh yeah i also forgot to mention DISC O RAMA around west 4th street.Havent been there ina while so i cant remember the address. Bumped into armand van helden there once in like 98.

yo oldtimer DECADANCE is great so is ROCK AND SOUL on 34th and 7th. Eightball is done with. ALso dance tracks which is at 91 east 3rd street. Hell im not a dj but if one day i decide to sell my 5000 plus vinyl i will post it up.

every weds at CIELo with KEVIN HEDGE of blaze. The name of the party is called ROOTS. Dont worry most of CIELOS bottles and modles crowd doesnt show up at all its strictyl house heads and dances with baby powder all over the floor. Have a good time its 10 bucks.
