roger s anywhere is a great party. I liked him better at sapphire that same night with junior sanchez also the one offs he does at cielo are amazing. Ive liked his 2 sets i heard at spirit but crowd wise that was a problem. Like most big room clubs they will have a mixture of everything with serious music lovers being in the small percentage. And sm garret when roger is at crobar i will be there dancing along side everybody else including you. I also follow djs regardless of whereever they spin. Look at dt hes doing roxy which is not a great place IMO. But i have to for now and doubt he will be there again.

im familiar with his productions and i agree there good. Same with his sets there good for that crowd who like that style of music. Im not sayin all of you are morons for liking him or soemthing like that. Im just saying hes not my cup of tea and i dont buy into his god like status. I got out of that sound in 1999. But that doesnt mean its not pleasing to people. Some people might not like style of music anymore either and like sasha or avb, pvd. It happens.

You never did answer the question though? as for the hottest looking crowd boohoo who cares i wanna know can they dance. And when your dancing your suppose to sweat i believe, but i guess your crowd is SOOOO HOTT that they dance like animals but dont sweat a drop on their fancy clothes. And all a great club needs for me is a great sound system, a dance floor filled with people who love house and a world class dj. I could care less about anythign else.

like i said earlier its a joke to me cause its NOT MY STYLE of music. That doesnt mean its not great to other people. Its the beauty of the world man some like things that other people hate and vice versa. Notice whenever i say something sucks like trance or certain djs i usually try to say somethiong along the lines of :its not my style. Its like i love led zeppelin but people might think they suck and that im stupid for not liking smashing pumkins instead. Its all good we have different choices. Pcr reason i mention that is just for people can get a sense of where im coming from musically. Ive heard alot of things during that time. Theres people now who been hearing edm music for like only 3yrs and know only tiesto for example cause of polls and magazines but wont bother knowing history. And im not gonna think that hes better than danny krivit as a dj. Just cause he does a few killer tracks in like 99/2000 TRACKS is the keyword not sets. suddenly hes the best. While someone like krivit whos been around since the 70s and plays 30 yrs worth of music as well to his crowd doesnt even come close PLEASE.

filter 14 was packed like a mofo and had some great dancers as well. One of the last underground clubs in nyc where it doesnt matter what you wear.

sasha is a joke over hyped fabrication on certain dj lists like other artist who i shall not name. But then again its not my style of music.

if you guys have never been to a body and soul party a 718 sessions party an underground network party a roots party a temple party a together in spirit party a shelter weds party a shelter sat/sun party and the house dance conference then i guess you dont know what i mean.

well last nights party was called HARMONY and its a once a month party sometimes more. Basically DEEPHOUSE and soulful; beats with tons fo dancers. Dont know what else goes on there every thursday jst certain parties here and there that i go to. The price is usually between 5 or 10 bucks.

danny is the best imo. He can spin music from 1973 until 2004 and it all makes sense. Erick morillo well once a great dj now does not play the same like he use o even early last yr. In dj mag he said he does play differently here than anywhere else. So maybe we have to go to europe where im sure hes still paying awesome.

so i tried to go to sleep but i couldnt cause i knew my comments would sound harsh and rude. I just got home from crobar and what an unbelieveable party. TERRY HUNTER, HEX HECTOR, TIMMY REGSFORD were relentless. 930pm tll 530am of nothing but HOUSE MUSIC. No stupid door drama, no stupid oh you cant get in cause your not dressed up shit. How could ou say that to a crowd who was literally all dressed in sweats and sneakers adclothes ready to sweat. That place from 12am til closing was packed with the best vibe that room has ever seen guranteee. NOBODY WAS in any dumb bottle service VIP rooms cause this crowd was all about dancing and MUSIC basically what a house party should be about. Everyone who was onthat floor was screaming adn jumping up and down cover in baby powder cause its time to wurk the floor. No stupid guidos no young girls in short skirts no wannabes posing and taking up space. Nothing but love coming from that crowd reacting to every record that the djs dropped. Sharin the floor with dancers of all ages race and gener is what HOUSE is about. There are pics and videos taken which if i ind them lol i will psot for ya. Grace jones perfomance was amazing as well. So was brian footwork greenes show with his dancers. Even the boxer jameel mccline was dancing his ass off and told me he felt realy stupid for having a collar shirt. No drunks in the crowd no drinks on the floor, what more could ya people who aways bitch and complain ask for. You guys dont know wat your missing but AUG 11TH you can see for yourself as the UNDERGROUND NETWORK presents chaka kahn and i dont know which dj yet at crobar. Funny how all these great parties with awesome dancers and where LOVE IS THE MESSAGE is filled with blacks, and latinosand asians who dont do drugs and takethier music and dancing seriously.. While all the parties with problems are filled with whites.

also ya seem to forget certain things. They were started by gay people i believe. Now most of ya on here are afraid of goin to gay parties. Anmd they had style and creativity not some spiky hair a/x wearing guys and short tennis skirts wearing girls.

This i why im very dssapointed in SPIRIT seems like their goin for MONEY crowd instead of a music crowd. But IT is a very big commercialize club so it was only a matter of time.
