you guys dont know what ya talking about I JUST GOT HOME and its 7pm lol, Danny t played until 415pm sunday afteroon, if you left aroudn 9am or sooner im sorry but you missed a whole other 7hrs of magic. Shit was great from beging to end, crowd wise well yeah it was packed DEAL WITH IT, i hate it as well but what can you do. Musically i had no complaints at all.

for those who dont know thats the SHELTER home on sat nights and sun mornings.

Man by the time i got there i was alreayd exhausted from the beating charles webster was throwig down at cielo. Got there around 5am and walked into some good beats by peter bailey and was having a blast until i just ran out of gas around 8somethign am. After all gotta get ready for tonights danny t carl cox ngiht. Anybody else on this board show up? Enjoy the music and the crowd seem to be enjoying it very much so thats good to hear. Tkc was really playing some great shit just wish i was more energized, but theres always next time.

i jsut got home from a great night at CILEO for cahrles webster closing party, and That Kid Chris and peter bailey over at LOVE, im tired but see ya in afew hrs.

PM is a bunch of pretty people or wanna be pretty people who thik thier the shit standing around drinkin what they think is great wine or champagne when its cheap shit marked way up. Hearing the same music you would hear on the radio. Check out CIELO or LOVE or do both to see 2 sides of the house music world. Cielo is one block awayvfrom pm anyhow so maybe you can do 3 places. Personally ithink cielo would satsify all of yoyr frineds and yourselfs expectations for the night.

house music/dance music is a culture some people are in it for life while for others its only a fad. Its the ones who never stop dancing and making music or playing music and keep goin out that makes this scene vibrant. I love the parties where 20 yr olds dance with 50 yr olds and the 40 yr olds put everyone to shame on the dancefloor. Alot of it depends also on your reasons for goin out, if you go out and think i have to do drugs or get drunk to have a good time then seriously wtf is wrong with someone of any age goin out to hear music and dance the night away and learn more about the scene.

yeah but SHELTER is not about teh spoace its about teh party that began in 1991 at 6 HUBERT STREET you know VINYL and then moved around to the tunnel before coming back to that location before moving to 39th street and then moving to its current location. So yes it is the same dancers and party goers that have been goin for 15yrs as well as many new faces. And in 39th street their were other rooms with other parties but DONT confuse those for Shelter parties. Cuase you have some djs who play those aprties adn talk that they "played" at shelter which is not really the case. They played a party at a room in shelter but not the actual shelter party. That party is about TIMMY REGISFORD, BEN JOHNSON, STING INTERNATIONAL, QUENTIN HARRIS, and RUEBN MACIAS and some guests from time to time.

Shelter on sat nights till sun afternoon, 718 sessions once a month among other palces. Cielo is def the best club in nyc check it out. Also as much as i hate drug use and big room it does go hand and hand but amongst the messes you will find people who are really there for the music drug free so dont lose hope i know i havent and have ment many people who are really about the music ONLY. What took you so long lol, party has been happpening for 15yrs and timmy been there since day one. And if you wanna know where that crowd is at check out the other aprties you see me mentiong, glad you had a good time sadly i havent been able to go as much as i use. That party is really something special and aside from 718 sessions once a month nothing comes close vibe wise or music wise. Notice how the crowd is on a different level then most other parties. Now go and search some of my other older threads lol and take notes hehe.

oh damn girl so sorry to hear this, i had a friend online telling me how one of the bouncers at pacha was being rude to people left and right and was not letting in people at times. I wonder if its because of the nature of jps crowd or is it something personal from the bouncer. Its a good thing to look young and get carded its another thing to actually be of age with a VALID id and still fucked with.
