When is Crobar or Mansion going to opend NYc 2008-2010
silverbull replied to rbert's topic in New York / New Jersey
I hope ya do realize mansion is gonna be heavy with the vip bottle service. And not only have those names played PACHA, but pacha has helped lots of great local talent build their own parties and grow as well. And while pacha does bring in talent from all over the world and musical styles, it residents are their for a reason as well, THEY DRAW NUMBERS AND HAVE FOLLOWINGS,etc. -

Help... Are there any BIG clubs left??
silverbull replied to crweaks23's topic in New York / New Jersey
All depends on what your looking for, Sullivan Room, Cielo, Shelter, Love each hold abut 2-300 and bottle sevice is not their policy its a music driven venue. Only big rooms are Pacha, Rebel, Websterhall. -
Last night was a lot of fun all over pacha. From our Basement to Chus N Ceballos Main Room. Now in 2 weeks we are in the Main Room for our Anniversary.
-
Dum Da Da - anybody know this song?
silverbull replied to shugabooga's topic in New York / New Jersey

For what date? And i would suggest for you to come to my bday party on Fri night@Sullivan Room, but dont know about the under 21 thingy,. Also what type of music you and your peeps are interested in?
-
Dont really know much on this subject, yet. But yeah thats what i heard last night.
-
Um well STIMULUS RESPONSE is exclusive at Pacha, good luck with your party though.
-
Thought i would spread the word to some of the people who dont know who or what "STIMULUS RESPONSE" is about. Live sets and video clips can be seen at www.myspace.com/stimulusresponsenyc in the blog section or in the DJ BOOTH section of this forum. We've been at Pacha Nyc every month since june of 2006 supporting many big Djs/events on the main floor with our basement jams and sharing the main room with international Djs as well. Our 2 yr Anniversary party is coming up in January and Stimulus Response will be headling this night in the main room. Heres a Gallery of our events over the past 2 yrs. http://www.kodakgallery.com/Slideshow.jsp?Uc=198i0ruk.6lexwbc4&Uy=l5um84&Upost_signin=Slideshow.jsp%3Fmode%3Dfromshare&Ux=0&mode=fromshare&conn_speed=1 Keith Blackstone If thump is what you crave, then let Keith serve you his genre-bending sound combining Dark, Hard, Progressive, Techno, and Tribal elements. His aggressive style of play and clean mixing skills combined with continual layering of tracks creates a flow that takes you on a mind trip. Keith can be described as a hybrid of Victor Calderone, David Morales, and DJ Vibe. His original productions, featuring remixes by some of the bigger names in the industry, will guarantee his spot on the list of New York up-and-comers. Lola More than just another sexy female with headphones. Lola spent many years on dancefloors of legendary NYC clubs, soaking in the sounds and culture which influenced her to become a DJ. After years perfecting her style being part of the long-running weekly party Deep See, she's now the 1st lady of Stimulus Response. Drawing from Deep House, Deep Tech, Broken Beat, Tech House, Progressive, and Techno, Lola's wide range of musical taste makes sure theres a little something for everyone on her floor. The Urban Relief Project Sean Cormac & John Cacciatore display as much energy in the booth as their percussive-driven sound evokes on the dance floor. With an arsenal of beats doubled, and four hands working the mixer; it's easy to forget that there is two of them creating the magic. Sean's detailed programming and creative compositions backed by John's drum driven, progressive sound creates a properly twisted symphony! . The seamlessness flow of two, sounds like one and continues to grow, while never straying far from their foundations in house.

I had the pleasure in meeting Mel after i called him up to let him know that i thought his book was just amazing and his life was unreal and to thank him for helping create something that means the world to me now. Was always a nice guy and love to go out and party almost at much as i go out and dance. And at his age damn. Sad to hear this news and for his close friends and family. R.I.P. Mel your legacy will always live on. I just cant believe after all that he went thru for his end to come this way. Here is the trailer to a documentary/movie made about him <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXYbKFSkW_Q&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXYbKFSkW_Q&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> Tonight im gonna wear my Paradise Garage T shirt that he gave me at Deko Lounge for Dennis Ferrer as a small tribute i cant find my west end t shirt.

It really does depend on what your looking for. If you want to just go out and have fun then theres many places clubs lounges where its filled with people who just want to hear music and meet and have fun and dont care to much about the scene/music/whose spinning what style and dancing. But if your looking for a music driven party crowd where people know why their going to the club and for who then thats a whole other game and my specialty hehe. What are you into.
