  1. The 15th I will be at cielo for TEDD PATTERSONS monthly "VIBAL" party and the following day is 718 SESSIONS 3rd anniversary at DEEP.
  2. Actually 15 with my cousins state id. We look very similar except hes 6 yrs older than me. Ask the people on this board who know both of us for the similarity in looks.
  3. for thos who think theirs no sense in "FAMILY" in the scene please your missing out on 718 sessions, shelter, deep space, deep see, roots, dance ritual, sacred rhythm, soul summit, dat party, etc. Lot more in this scene then crobar, spirit, avalon, sheesh. And afterhrs, SHELTER for the past 14 yrs has had TIMMY REGISFORD playing for 14 hrs almost every sat night sunday afternoon. With that said hope everyone has a great time at vicious party and would like to try to make it down one night.
  4. I may have criticized your "sound" nowadays as oppose to what i use to listen from you in the early to mid 90s when there was less hard boom boom, so to say. But your heart seems to be into what your doing with this party. And thats whats incredible no matter if someone doesnt dig a certain sound cause that wont stop the otehrs who do. I wish you luck on this project. And i see your taking it to the old school ways with the names, warehouse, loft, and the membership thingy. hehe.
  5. I think its called GUEST HOUSE. See you guys inside.
  6. enjoyed it very much. Heard all 3 of your mixes and this is my fave one.
  7. Dont know the exact name of the club or address yet but just got the info. Its a smaller venue which means a much more intimate set like at arc/vinyl disco, sully, cielo, quo, movida. Im exicted so catch you guys there.
  8. i answered it for you in the music section.
  9. Here you go : The Fire Tomz "Drum Fever" Produced, Mixed & Programmed by Joey Rivera & Jonathan Trattner Recorded & Mixed @ Sound Warehouse Studios NY Additional Percussion by Thomas Rivera Tratt Music(ASCAP), Joey Rivera Music(ASCAP), Jessica Michael Music, NEColor Music(ASCAP) 2001 Captivating Red(Warner Music) the mix your looking for is the hilo dub not the main mix. The hilo dub when played normally sounds faster but a lot of djs who play this track slow it down. From what i heard on your upload thingy mike was sounded like it was taken from something called HARD TRIBAL HOUSE mixed by danny tenaglia. Just so you know its not him it STEVE LAWLER and its from 2001. Def a great track that i havent heard live in quite some time. I dont count the last time i heard it cause the dj didnt slow it down.
  10. Fave music is HOUSE MUSIC but i am a fan of older rock myself, near obsessed with both KISS n LED ZEPPELIN believe it or not.
  11. Not a song i made but quite accurate to my lifestyle.
  12. illegal downloading can make someone get "short" version, pathetic.
  13. not much a fan anymore but he also just plays a lot of acapellas over beats. So good luck finding some of the stuff he plays.
  14. how there they use the name WAREHOUSE, thats a deephouse chicago staple with frankie knuckles. And last one in nyc was in the bronx for a few yrs(dont know if its still there) and they played deephouse. Now to go and call this WAREHOUSE, sigh.
  15. first club i hit was CLUB EXPO in 1995 and here i am, goin out more than ever at 24, from either 3 to 5 nights of the week while having 2 jobs and working weekends and having a g/f. Only thing with me from day one that drives me to go to a club is MUSIC AND DANCING. Never needed drugs, nor alcohol nor friends to have a good time. ALways been bout THE MUSIC THE DJ AND ME. Some people go out for certain reasons and when those reasons change things aint the same. But if you go out to only dance and hear the beats, then that will nevert change. Its great seeing people in thier 40s n 50s showing how much passion they have while junkies in thier 20s bitch and complain thier getting old.
  16. and now the lineup: 6pm-7pm: Louie Gorbea 7pm-8pm: Quentin Harris 8pm-9pm: Francois K. 9pm-10pm: Danny Krivit 10pm-11pm: Louie Vega + Anane+ Mr V 11pm-12am: Kevin Hedge + Barbara Tucker 12am-1am: Nicolas Matar 1am-2am: Steve Travolta
  17. ONLY certain people can relate to that side of it, NOT ALL, thankfully.
  18. didnt managed to get their until about 12am and stood to closing, didnt think to much of the place nor the sound sadly. But farina was lovely. Great concept that i think needs more work. And a real PROPER dancefloor.
