House!!!!!

last year we rented a huge house on the bay for $4000 for the week, but it was just a tad too far and organizing it was a bitch. This year I got a condo at the Shelbourne for just me and my GF for $480 for 7 days

DTs party is ALWAYS the opening party. It was always on a Tuesday or Monday, even when it was at groovejet.

That is because the AC was sabotaged, many speculate it was by the club in the neighboring "space". They cut the power feeds to it, they had it fixed way later on.

Yes it is but keep in mind the purpose, no matter what direction it seems it is in now, of the WMC is for the DJs, Producers, Labels etc to meet greet and hear the NEW music. Some of you are just dance and party fans, but keep in mind what this is really about. Not to say a classic here and there is bad, but this conferene sets the pace for teh rest of the year, so open those ears for the new stuff. Any DJ that plays classics all night is taking the easy train.

OK for the hard headed, it is my OPINION that he is the best. Antying ANYONE say here is an OPINION. Deal with it.

If you don't get him you don't get him. He is "The Djs - DJ" Hell, Deep Dish won an award last year and said this is to Danny T, he is the reason for this and he deserves it. The DJs know who is the top in our industry he gives us somethign to strive for that when all combined no other DJ can touch. Maybe his music isn't your style, but when you get to knwo who he is and what he does and how he does it then you learn the true meaning of DT. Anyhow, much like him, I stay away from the negativity, and fact is I have heard AMAZING sets form other DJs, but no one touches the whole package and the positive energy that comes from him. But just remember those that are on top always have haters.

DT is pissed because the Owner Luis Puig(sp?) faked the closing of Space, had Danny fly in to Dj it last minute, then reopened with a changed name. DT felt it was decieveing to the dance fans, it wasn't right.

Envy is called wharehouse now it is next to Space 34. And No one can touch Danny, Tiesto is about as much fun as van dyk and oakenfold, boring...

Sun-Wed, I know they are harder nights. But where should me and my friend go. House music if possible. We are staying at the Palms and seeing George Clinton sunday night, but sure we'll have time for more afterwards.

Hey can the Miami snobs just shut up, we don't care what you think

funny I keep hearing this one, JP is not listed nor has he said anythign about DJing in Miami at all. As a matter of fact he even said where do people keep getting these false ideas of where I will be in Miami.

The conference is a 5 day affair where people like me get together with other DJs, Artists, labels and discuss ways of making this industry work better, etc... It caught on with club goers as a place and time to party, which is what was never intended. Now the actual conference people get no extra treatment at the doors of any club and since attendance is low now because of dance music fans leeching off of what we started, the conference is struggling so it may not exist in future years. I think it's great that everyone gets toegther to listen to dance music for a solid week, but it has lost its focus and original intention.

I'm dying for it too. I have to DJ Thurs night, Fri night, Sat through Mon I am DJing 10am till close at 2am. One of the places I work at has a whole street festival for St. Patties day weekend. Downside I'll be wiped out tired. Upside is in extra $1400 spending cash for Miami.
