So whats up for everyone tonight. It seems like alot of you had a long night last night, still going to Space on Saturday? I know I am headed out since i have freinds in town visitng, but just thought I would meet up with people if any one has any comps or knows whats shaking for Saturday.

Monster House is the bomb. I love how they just take a sledge hammer and jack hammers to people's houses and leave a pile of crap in the front yard for the owners to stare at.
Here is my monster house: Take the best concepts and designs from all of Miami's best clubs and put them in my house.

hey matrix girl, Chill was the pre party party about 3 months ago. chill was good then, but then all the promoters left and took the people to the new pre party.
I liked Chill but when Jean Luca left it, it lost its touch.

It is better to meet woman up here in Ft. Lauderdale, the places are more laid back and the woman are not all gold diggers.

Man this weekend was crazy, I went to two places that were off the hook and showed off my new dubs on Washsington. Club Deep was the place on Friday night and then went to Cristal on Saturday.
I thought I would see some of the CP crew there but maybe next time.

Hey Househed, I was able to finally check out Karma last week and really like the joint. Glad to see Ft.. Laudy picking up with the house.
I just have questions about your upcoming "model event". Having worked in the industry, I know about the current and ongoing scam with "Wilhelmina" scouting, TCT talent, Edge talent, etc. other names they change to every couple of months. Just don't want you guys to get burned. If it is this company be very leery of them, if it the reputable Wilamina Modeling agency then you are golden. I was at the party at Prive back in May and had a great time.

So we decided to venture out to Ft. Lauderdale Saturday night. I was in the mood to just chill out with friends and do whatever. First of all, it looked like a car show for the Fast and Furious. We get down to Riverfront and go to some dive bar, have a few drinks, then leave for Sidebar. Had a good time there, but I think the air conditioning was broken and was just too crowded.
Then I chime in and say lets go to Karma, We get there about 1:30, place looks good, it was about 3/4 full with a good mixture of people. The first thing I notice is the A/C is blasting cold, I love it!. The music was average, couldn't really pick out any tracks, but the music is a little loud for the place, decide what you want to be: a club or a lounge and go from that. The decor is nice very relaxing and different with the minimalist style.
On to the bad points, Get some F*^%ing bartenders that know what they are doing and want to be there. There are six of us in
our group and I was the only one to get any type of reasonable service. The Music was too loud for them to hear what you were ordering. Then one of my girls goes to the bar, tries to order a Stoli and Crannberry, and a Carona. The guy looks at her says "we have no Stoli", but I am looking straight at about 5 bottles of it. Gives her the Corona, with no lime, and then give her a Smirnoff Ice. She asked what is this, I did not order this. and his response was "Take or leave it". At the point we just about had it, two of my friends head out. We stay a little while longer till around 2:15 , the DJ is losing the crowd, and the place clears out within 15 minutes. I was like where they hell is everyone, I was just getting going.
I give Karma 2.5 out of 5 stars, it has potential, but needs allot of work and good promotions.

I think some of us are going to hit Lauderdale tonight and was wondering if you know what the deal for Saturday is at either place?

Well, if you are looking for a big venue like Crobar without all the hassles, I think it is a no brainier to go with Maze. Of course it take a crap load of people to fill that place up, But with the right DJ's and promotions it is possible.
There are not many "big" venues. Crobar, Maze, Space, and Opium are the only ones
As for Nerve, it is great venue, but not in any way a Crobar or Maze size. It is more the size of the Crobar VIP room. Maybe NerveMiami can fill us in on capacity and sq. footage.
Are you looking to stay in SoBe or how about a Grove club like Oxygen or the new one Life?

Just got home fromt he show and am damn tired from it.
Snoop entertained us as a warm up and got everyone stoned, then RHCP put on one of the best performances I have ever seen. So much energy and their lights and visuals were spectacular.
The only down side was it was so hot outside.

Since Miami is one of the best places for all DJ's to play, I was wondering, what European DJ's are you interested in seeing here? The usual favorites come around at least once a year, but who hasn't visited Miami in along time or DJ's that have a big following in Europe but are still not " popular" for the US crowd. There are so many talented DJ's that just don't get the international exposure, that being said, List the DJ's that you want in Miami and will see what it brings in the future.

Tony had Nerve rocking and great vibe that carried over to everyone just having a great time. People were dancing " freely" and it really looked like Mr. Humphries was having a enjoyable time also, he had a smile ear to ear. His track selection was very on point and kept it fresh. There was also a nice selection of woman and a big Thanks to Mike, Rudolph, Mario and the super friendly staff @ Nerve.

Crobar Pre - Party Zutra Restaurant and Lounge on the corner of Michigan and Lincoln Rd.
This a good place to go before the crazy clubbing. Everyone present will get free entry to Crobar after 1 am.__
Then walk to Crobar a few blocks away. SATURDAYS AT CROBAR_-_Main room - the high energy music of DJ BRUNO and DJ CEDRIC GERVAIS__
Then if your are still up for it @ 4 or 5 am , go to Space34 Sunrise Session on the rooftop terrace watching the sun come up with 2000 other clubbers while listening to some of the best DJ's in the world.__

Sunday: Go to Nikki Beach Club around 3 pm just chill out, eat , listen to good music.
