  1. Don't know if this has been mentioned...but I heard a few weeks ago that E! would be down at the shore doing it's Wild On show some time this summer. It was mentioned on the news as well but I also heard it from the horses mouth at a bar one nite. Anyone else hear about this or know when and where they're going to be down filming?
  2. down at the shore... Bar A? Tradewinds? Neither - something else?
  3. refrain from blasting this tune at excessively high levels...and this goes for all the guido wannabes out there. And to all the shore dj's...don't play this track either...you still won't get laid.
  4. There's a great place right in Montclair near the Bellevue movie theatre on the main street there in the shopping district...across from THE wine store...great selection of rolls and nicely priced...BYOB. If you go, the "Upper Montclair roll" is a MUST!
  5. The latest craze?!? Are you fucking serious? Please tell me you're joking. As a former raver of the mid-late 90's, glowstix were always around...maybe it's the newest thing for 30-somethings to play with, but it sure as hell isn't the latest craze.
  6. From someone who's close with the police chief, it isn't a law, but the suggestion to not play hip-hop should be taken very seriously. How easy it would be to re-write local ordinances that would prevent all establishments from remaining open til 4 AM while serving til 3...it would only take the presence of 6 state tropper units at a brawl involving hip-hop clientele to limit their hours.
  7. I thought glowstix died in the 90's...what fucknut is still mass-producing these things?
  8. Come to Jenks on Sat, July 26 with Dog Voices...then you'll see some fights.

  10. Haven't been on in some time, but... Fuck the Stankees. That is all.
  11. outside Jersey for me: Nation in DC Five in DC Sonar in Baltimore Trust in Baltimore Fluid in Philly Arc in NYC Disco in NYC
  12. Hey, I'm far from a fat loser and I have an excellent life outside bouncing. For me it's just a summer job...I want my days free so I can hit the beach and surf. I'll admit it though, there are a lot of assholes that think they can do whatever they want, but I'm not in the category. Chances are, you were probably acting like a fucknut and that's why you're all pissed off. As for the pay...I usually get into work around 10:30-11 and leave by 2:30...at $9 and change an hour...that's far less than $60. Maybe they pay better in the Heights cuz it's a shithole there...and did you ever think that sometimes bouncers are encourage to start fights...think about it...the town gets $1000 from anyone involved in a fight.
  13. Then why do people keep diggin up old tunes that didn't get much play back in the day? Why - because older stuff had a much more raw sound...people nowadays program tunes way too much. This goes for trance, electronica, breaks, and drum n bass...but I forgot...you're probably a product of SF and KTU. And here's an old track from '96 (I think) that's creating a buzz with many DJ's from NYC: Lamb: "Gorecki".
  14. exactly...and summer anthems are ALWAYS 6 months off.
  15. Tiesto: "Nyana" Conjure One feat/Sinead O'Connor: "Tears from a Moon" (Tiesto remix)
  16. Click Here to Listen 6.00 - 7.30 PM For those in the dark, I do a radio show every Tuesday on the University of Delaware's station. This is my last show as I'm graduating. I play everything that's EDM (all styles of trance, house, electronica, breaks, DnB, and big beat). So tune in. I'm also throwing down my "version" (cuz I didn't get a chance to remix it yet) of "Clocks" with some of my lyrics laid on top. Questions/Comments: (302)831-2701

  19. MOS cd's were great years ago...when there was only ONE annual, ONE trance mix, and ONE club mix. Now it has become a huge commercial product that produces less and less quality tunes and about 50 comps a year...a least a dozen chill-out cd's, and there's something like 5 different Ibiza ones as well. In fact, the last time I had any interest in MOS comps, I had the entire tracklisting months in advance....I mean shit I was playing in April of 2002 was on a lot of their albums after the summer was over. When I go out and buy a comp, I want it to have tracks I never heard of. MOS cd's def serve a purpose, but they have worn out their welcome with me. As for buying comps these days, I look for stuff off Naked Music, OM Records, and Hook Recordings.
  20. Just get another DUP and you'll be fine. You will get into most (if not all) places with 2 DUP's...think about it, they can't punish you for losing your liscense and they can't force you to bring along your passport which is expensive. They know your ID's are good cuz the number on your photo should be the same on both DUP's.
  21. If you have a Duplicate or a Change or anything other than Initial or Renewal you MUST have a PHOTO backup. This can ONLY include other Duplicates, passport, and county ID's...college ID's don't work at all. I don't know about Seaside and south, but in Point Pleasant (as much as cops there are assholes) they won't arrest you. I have seen ID's get taken away, but only once did a girl get busted. Only because she forced the issue after the cops repeatedly asked her where she got the ID. Because she persisted so much, and the cops found out it wasn't hers, she got busted. My suggestion: find someone who's 21+, get a duplicate with their info (very easy in NJ as we all know), then get ANOTHER duplicate...that way you should be golden, granted that you match up with the person's stats.
  22. Where you at? In the shore area, you can't beat the gym next to K-Mart on Rt 37 in Toms River...and I think it's around $100 from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
  23. lots def going on this summer; going to Italy for a week next Tuesday graduating May 31 taking some classes though (I can walk, but get my degree later) living in Seaside Park working in Pt. Pleasant on Friday nite partying in NYC/Hamptons every other nite might be doing some promotions for Sparks and of course, I'll be beachin it up...hopefully with some 10-foot swells again
