haha, behold the power of the BULLET
  2. scumfrog is the fucking shit. hasn't disappointed yet.
  3. finally heard this, not sure why everyone likes it so much. it's a very blah track, def not a club tune, more like driving to work, and on a mellow day to boot.
  4. that my my my track is def off the hook. i gotta check out his cd.
  5. i've personally never had a problem with avalon at all. i mean how do you have to be dressed to not get in, there's kids in there with ufos on. unless you have like walmart sweatpants on or some shit i don't know how you're having problems.
  6. gotta start practicing my fist pumping right away.
  7. one more thing i gotta give dave though is just the way that he talks and carries himself. just the way that he says shit makes things that wouldn't even be funny totally hilarious. i still listen to his hbo special from years back and it still cracks me up. hey baby, it's 3 o'clock in the morning, what the fuck you doing up? haha
  8. god DAMN, look at all those seaman fans just coming out of the woodwork, haha. anyway, for those that do care, which is probaly like two people, it was a hot fucking night. opening dj was good, although i didn't see if it was teh regular asian guy, i think it was someone else. dave was also on point, i really love hsi track selection, the highlight was when he played the new faithless tune, mass destruction. i fuckin went nuts, lol. the only downside of the night was who i could only assume was phil k, he spun for a little bit in the middle of the night and then seaman came back on. but he kept spinning breaks and def cleared out the dancefloor while he was on. im not really a fan of breaks, esp not for like four songs in a row, and in the middle of the night. but aside from that, another good night, now if only avalon could get a better system, and find a better crowd, they would be all set. BUT getting to see a world class dj for 15 bucks, im not really gonna complain that much.
  9. i think comparing them is like comparing apples and oranges, they go for a dif type of humor. rock does a lot of political and current events type stuff, and chappelle, who i love btw, just goes for the stupid funny shit that just makes you laugh your ass off. who would have thought that doing YEAHHH over and over again would be funny, but everytime i see him on tv doing that shit i start laughing my ass off.
  10. anyone going to check this out, i can't believe no one has posted anything about this. it's him and phil k tonight, while i have no clue who the other guy is, dave spins some hot shit. have a few of his recent sets and he def is good. just wanted to see why it was so quite in here.
  11. i think timo maas...check the website for sure.
  12. he spins really awesome dark, progressive house. seen him twice at crobar so far and both times he was off the hook. i will def be there again the next time he spins. you won't be disappointed if you're a fan of house music.
  13. def checking this guy out. last week was armin, now i need my house fix. btw, there's a new set of his up at djmixes2k.com, it's pretty hot, so check it out.
  14. haha, you thought you couldn't move in roxy when a big dj shows up, this is gonna be something else. my ass is gonna be there at like 7 trying to get a good spot on line.

    Break up letter!

    haha, that thing is hilarious.
  16. let's just say that if i paid money for last night i would have complained...a lot.
  17. is crobar paying your rent? cause you're all over the board pushin the place hardcore. i thought his set was awesome btw, but it's not the only place to see good djs. now if only avalon did something about their sound system...they got some good talent coming in the next two months.
  18. it's the little pocket guidos that always make me laugh. if anyone goes look for me, i'll be the one wearing a shirt with the largest a/x logo around
  19. the past few times their parties have been pretty weak as far as turnout is concerned, this is probably on par with how many people are gonna be there. i might just stop by since it is free, but i don't really expect much from that place anymore.
  20. yep, heard it on radio1, don't particularly like it. some parts of the track are good, then it just gets cheesy. it's freeland - smells like, that's what it is on their tracklisting.
  21. family guy is def the funniest show ever to be on television in my opinion. im taking a little break because me and my roommate watched them all like five times each, i have both the dvds as well. i hear they're coming out with a family guy movie and they might possibly return to television again with new episodes because the dvd sales have been doing really well. that would be awesome.
  22. speaking of packed, that's another reason i don't like roxy anymore, the crowd there the last couple of times i went was absolutely awful. i don't mind a packed club when the crowd is right and there's a positive vibe in there, i love when you just see like three thousand people all going nuts. buuut, roxy lately has been filled with a bunch of drugged out asses who don't know how to handle their drugs and don't even know who's spinning that night. i know people that are going that night so i hope it'll be different, it just sucks when a good dj is wasted on people that don't apprecite the music.
  23. could also be Hughes & Spiers - Gordin
  24. i don't really mind paying 25 bucks to see him at crobar, you gotta admit that comparing arc and crobar is like comparing apples and oranges, crobar is much bigger, i don't wanna say nicer and offend all the arc heads, and their overhead is gotta be much higher. just saw scumfrog there last night, it was my second time there, and i like it more and more every time, definitely one of the best clubs i've been to in the city.
