There are quite a few quality clubs and bars in the San Juan / Old San Juan area as long as you know where to go. Moorings located in the condado area of San Juan has some good house/techno and hip hop nights its a good crowd and not to expensive. 1214 Ashford Ave / 787-725-2192 Oleo Lounge Casa Cuba (Isla Verde area) Pool Palace Entertainment Center across the street from the westin hotel is having a huge party on the 29th with a ton of djs Club Lazer is big, but Im not sure if its still open, I havent been to PR in awhile... Rebar and Arena on Pier 10 are always host to huge international names like PVD and John Digweed etc... check out cool junkie san juan for more info Have a rockin time! Its a four track sampler of Portugese producers called Portugal Totally Un-mixed DJ Vibe did a mix of a track called Step One - Thats more than likely what you are looking for.. It was released on Twisted America in 97', they also put out a CD called Portugal - Totally Mixed that has the 4 songs from the 12" plus 10 others. As far as I know both are long out of print.
