LOL!! It's all true!! That 70s/80s room ALWAYS played the same songs!!Webster Hall sucks big time! However, I will admit that I did like going there back in the day; but once I really got into the club scene and expanded my horizions a bit, I realized just how bad that place really is. The last time I was there, my friend and I walked out at about 2am b/c it sucked so bad. I don't think I'd ever go there again.

Yeah, I'll be skipping this one too. There's gonna be no room to dance and it's gonna be about 120 degrees up in there. I'm thinking about going on Friday night for Donald Glaude though.

I would be sure to check out Spirit and Avalon while you're here. Both are very different and you may like one better than the other depending on what kinda scene you're into. For afterhours, check out Discotheque on Sunday mornings @ 5am.

Yeah, that's the thing w/ trends. Everyone just jumps on the bandwagon and then your "style" isn't all that original anymore. After about 4 months, the style is played out and then you're kicking yourself b/c you just spent all this money on some trendy article of clothing that has been replaced w/ some newer trendy article.

Get a f'n clue bro! Crobar has the worst vibe of almost any club that I've been to in recent times. Guys like David Waxman and Boris suck balls! But let me get this right....you think that Crobar is better than Twilo/Tunnel was with guys like Junior, DT, Vicious, etc. on the decks? Hahahahahhhhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Yeah; guys like Waxman and Boris are not exactly "A" list talent. Crobar is more concerned w/ being hip and trendy rather than catering to real die-hard club goers. They have brought in some good DJs, but certainly not on a regular basis.

J/K bro... Avalon will be packed for Tiesto, so dress nicely to avoid not getting in. Wear something w/ a collar or a nice looking t-shirt, nice jeans, and black shoes and you should be fine.

I'm gonna show up wearing an old school Puma jumpsuit and a T-shirt that says, "Whoomp, there it is!" I'll probably also wear my adidas sneakers w/ the fat laces. I just hope they let me bring in some cardboard and a ghetto blaster so I can do the tilt-a-whirl and some backspins on dance floor.

I'm gonna break into Spirit and jack their a/c system and install it in Avalon.

Check out http://www.metromixradio.com and you can listen to some good house music there. Get a program that lets you record streaming audio and you're all set.

I never thought the vibe @ Crobar was any good, but that's just my opinion. Waxman sucks BTW. Christian Smith @ Avalon or DJ Vibe @ Spirit should be a better party.

I was wondering about the after party @ Spirit as well. I don't think I'll be able to make it to the Central Park show, but I def. wanna go out later on. Does anyone think you can just buy them at the door?

....so you can't get into Spirit on 6/25 (PVD) unless you also buy the ticket for Central Park? That kinda sucks.

I haven't been to Spirit yet, but I have been to Crobar, and it's the same situation there also: Good looking venue and a nice looking crowd, but too many stuck up people who don't dance for whatever reason. Instead of complaining about the lack of vibe @ Spirit, I think we need to contribute to it. I will be going there soon and there ain't no way I'm gonna be standing in the corner. I think this place has a lot of potenial. It's already attracting some good talent; if it can also attract a crowd who wants to dance, then it will become the best club in the city.
