Just get Sirius or XM radio. Service is between $9.99-$12.99 a month. That's cheaper than if you were to buy 1 new CD a month. Each has like 4 or 5 dance stations. I'm sure that at least one or two of those stations plays some good quality house/trance/tech stuff.

Infected Mushroom (Live PA) @ Avalon is gonna be insane!!! For anyone who has never seen them perform, you owe it to yourself to check them out. Anyone who saw them back in May can testify how talented they are and how they got the crowd going nuts!! Can't wait!!

Um, Avalon has Bad Boy Bill, Mauro Picotto, and Ferry Corsten coming in October.........how the hell can you say the place is done?

LOL!! I have that CD too!! That was one of the first ones I bought. That is K-swing. She's a breaks DJ who I'm a fan of.

Mine was a double compilation CD entitled, Club Anthems '99. I didn't really know too much about who was who in the DJ would back in those days, but I knew that I liked the sound of house music. I just grabbed a mix CD off the rack that looked good, not really having any clue if it was good or not. Now that I found it lying around, I recognize that there are many great songs/artists on it. There are tracks by Mauro Picotto, Blank & Jones, Binary Finary, etc. Not a bad choice for someone who didn't really know too much at the time.

Unfortunately, it's probably never gonna happen. The landlord who owns the property said he will not allow another nightclub to occupy that space. But if the building changes hands, ya never know.

Seriously; flailing your arms around while kicking wildly is NOT dancing. People look like fish out of water when they're doing that shit.

It was great! There were lots of people, but there was still room to dance. Great beats all night, of course.

The reason that there wasn't much dancing is b/c those posers don't know how to dance! They just pump their fist in the air or jump up and down.

I've never had a problem w/ the bouncers @ Spirit and I usually go w/ one of my guy friends. I've never had a problem using the CP guestlist either. Guess they realize that it just wouldn't be the same w/o me there......lol

I've lost my pants there a couple of times....

I'm not a huge fan of Crobar either. The only time it's ever good is if a big name DJ is spinning, and even then, it's still a crapshoot. I couldn't imagine spending an entire night there if someone like Waxman or Boris was spinning.

Attention to whoever creates Spirit's fliers: Learn to spell "happiness" correctly!!!

I'm hooked on Starbucks iced coffee. I get one almost every day. As far as food goes, I usually just have some cereal or fruit at home before I leave.
