The original poll was who would have the huge following, fan base, blow up DJ. I just feel that a monthly here and there is not going to get you to that level. You have to have some type of exposure to saturate the market. We all know that making sick beats is one thing, but being the one who makes the sick beats and rocks the crowd are two different things.

^What's up playa James deserves a lot of credit too. Most of the parties for the past 2 WMC's were his hotel bookings. Not to mention the Sunset Sessions were he gave just about every local DJ, including myself, a shot and shots ;D

Your email gets sold or passed on to different promoters. I think it's like hey I'm a promoter but have no clients, let me ask so and so for his list and I'll comp him a bottle or some shit like that. I've never been to Mansion and I get spammed constantly by them.

You have to have some type of activity in the local scene to be a local dj...wouldn't you agree? Some of your members rarely play in public.

It's all about exposure. I picked Jimmy T because he's from the old school...McMillan fools, better recognize. 8) And to be honest with you...unless house music gets a different style of marketing, in Miami, those huge followings are disappearing. From my observation there's more people following promoters than DJ's. Hip Hop / Regeatton Rules!

It's just like everything in Miami...prices will continue to rise because people don't give a shit and they will pay. When lots stay empty, prices will drop...when people stop buying property, prices will cease...when people stop paying 15 bucks for a drink...well you get the picture. It's our own fault!

Having served in the Military, I have great respect for the flag. I used to get really pissed when every so called "American" flew there pride flag after September 11 from the car and ended up in the street or ripped to pieces. Even last year I was a little upset at some of the comments from the teepee thread just because I know of the tradition and the respect you are supposed to show the flag of the United States. But sometimes, you have to pick your battles.
