  1. NYC needs some DnB. I once tried going out with some freinds to a place i read was a "Drum n Bass Lounge". The description sounded great. We went there and it was a "top 40 type of place." Grr. We still got pissed drunk and had a good time, but yeah. DnB would be veeeeeeeeeeeryy nice. btw, i lost my fav dnb cd and i just remembered how much i love it.
  2. havent heard anything from cosmic gate in a longgggg time. I would definitly go see them somewhere. Whether a live PA or hearing them spin.
  3. good sex is when both partners are equallty satisfied...regardless of the means.
  4. This is definitly a touchy subject. Im enjoying reading all these thoughts and opinions. Its definitly the future of music manipulation, but at what expense? If things become so easy that anyone can do it, DJs will no longer be recognized for their true skill. 2 records and a mixer. the rest is all about how the dj uses them.
  5. i think i'm in. I just hope he takes it up a notch and doesnt play too much of the dull downtempo trance that digweed sometimes does. I want all out energy.
  6. yeah, PVD is definitly om point. I like armin better for some reason. I cant really explain why. I always have a good time @ an Armin event.
  7. -DAMN, i really should have came down this weekend.
  8. vicious' old tracks were and still are AMAZING. hurricaine? i think that was the name. THATS SOO AMAZING TO THIS DAY. Angry itch was more for fun. Not really that great but definitly a nice little track. Open was great. And who can forget XTC. That was a classic that im sure we all remember. EVERY DJ taxed that acappella and rode it over another track. The club would go crazy
  9. i also agree with binary. How does trance's post make him seem like he has a low self esteem? Ive read some threads today and it seems like everyone is on each other's asses about EVERYTHING. Trance,SilverBull,Mask,Binary are expressing love and care for the scene and everything that attracted then to the scene. Whether 10years in or 1year. If you fall in love with club culture, you end up caring about it. Because in the end nobody will preserve it but us. Its the people who dont give two shits about it that are jumping down everyones throat. NYC needs a revolution. Bring back the vibe of the older days, but progress in knowledge and education about the scene, drug usage, music, and all the factors that make up our city. We know more now than we did 10 years ago, so we are safer when it comes to drugs and all those types of things. But it seems like everyone acts like they know more. Know more about what people? we all have our different experiences and we all have different reasons for loving the music and the culture. Some people want to preserve it more. To some its "something to do" to others its a career, and to many its a release. Whatever the reason, im glad other are concerned. The people who care about this are the ones who are going to prove every stereotype wrong. CLUBS ARE FOR DRUGGIES, CLUBS ARE CRACKDENS, ELECTRONIC MUSIC ISNT REAL MUSIC and so on. If some people dont state their opinions, then this "culture" will just be shoved off as some kind of "label". wow, i typed too much. I hate getting involved on message boards. Reading passes the time, its the writing that i usually dont bother doing. I made an exception this time. But i can see what freak meant trance. Lately today your angry at everyone. Either that, or everyone is just picking on you.haha
  10. you gotta love prodigy, this group has been producing quality tracks for over a decade and they throw on a pretty mean live show. Those 2 qualities combined are lethal. Reviews for their new album werent too great, but i think it all depends on WHO was reviewing it. I have alot of memories attatched to prodigy and their music so they hold a special place in my music collection.
  11. trancesun, ahhh ---- good to see another skoof fan <thumbsup>
  12. i love how people are judging others from behind a cpu screen,--its funny,i didnt read passed the first page, but damnn --whether you guys have a point or not/lets get back to reality for a second**WE HAVE 9 PAGES..THAT HAS BEEN ON THIS BOARDS FOR ALMOST A COUPLE WEEKS ABOUT ONE INDIVIDUAL PERSON** i find that interesting(and no im not bashing this post or anyone on it---i just find it crazy how it made it this far)

  15. anybody??? its funny, alot of people in ny act as if they dont like trance, but then whenever a trance dj comes into town, 5000394823934 peopel attend. Greatest part was, tonight at tiesto, some guy was like i cant wait to see tiesto......even though he sucks. The second i heard that i was like damn, ny is a twisted place for fans of electronic music. I either get super good vibes , or super BAD vibes from people acting as if they know eveything. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIND AN EVENT LIKE THE ONES ABOVE.
  16. not at all..in japan ...the mothers teach their daughters how to please a man so that they can be good wives. Sex is perfectly normal in many cultures. I mean, how can u deny yourself animal instinct? thats why everyone is so fucked up in the catholoc church..touching little boys and shit.
  17. You dishona ma family...we fight na woo
  18. havent been out in ny in a while(until recently) and looking for some help heyyyy, just got back from tiesto and i somehow got the SAME cd that i received at crobar last night. I definitly dig the shit, but im looking for more info on this artist. I searched the web and only found a few track downloads and stupid shit like that, some old info on old parties. clubplanet - addicted and Raveclick Review I WANT TO HEAR TRANCE IN NY GOD DAMNIT. something besides when the big guys come into town(which is awesome, but still) im asking for help here.Even if its about a venue that plays trance or something..ANYTHING im dieing here. BO NEEDS HELP Can someone at least throw me in the right direction as to where i can check out a trance weekly? thanking u in advance - BO
  19. link didnt work. my cpu is majorly ghetto though, so that might be the problem.
  20. i should def re-check it out though, i tried a "classics" party back in the day and it was exactly how i mentioned above - BLOW THE SPEAKER WAS NOT A CLASSIC IN MY MIND. But now that you nice people have explained that i was simply ruined by one bad experience, i might come back and check out another classics night. ah, the memories.
  21. EDIT: decided to move this post to its own thread because its not directly about crobar.
