been to avalon like 3 times, so i dont know what your really talking about. But i can see where your coming from. Umm, bottom line. i was messed up , the music was good, and the atmosphere was definitly kick ass with all those people there. I agree, it shouldnt turn into a "freak show" but every once and a while, the trannies and scary crack heads, definitly amp it up. Yeah, for ferry, and any other trance dj..i agree, they should NOT have those people. It would kill the happy vibe. But last night was just an overal crack house, and if i was sober..i would have HATED it. But because i was sooo out of it between all the booze and a few joints, it definitly was a mind fuck that i enjoyed. (would not want to party like that again for a VERY long time. I just like happy people, good happy music...and lots of sober dancing. But i can definitly see how people get sucked into the darkside of "clubland". It was a good mindfuck, but thats about it.

Overal, amazing night...was reallly fucked up(i RARELY drink or get fucked up at clubs, i like to enjoy everything sober..most importantly the music, but last night..what can i say?..just ended up being a random night...its funny though, when your fucked up..you look around and realize..damn..EVERYONE IS FUCKED UP. definitly a weird night. and why were all those trannies there?..definitly added to the atmosphere..but why? there were like 40 trannis there doing umm...interesting thigns to each other. anyways, i would LOVE to here from some other people who were there. what did u guys think? what can i say? I like to be around people who are REAL. People who dont try to act like something they arent. People who like music. People who dont start fights. People who dont care about what is the latest trend or the "hott song" of the month. The majority sucks it is like watching the NYC version of clueless. Anybody who has traveled enough outsied of th country knows that overseas. The music is important(i fnot THE most important factor of a night), but yet nobody bashes on a dj if he really isnt playing too well. Booze is another important part, yet you dont see people getting shitfaced and starting fights. I enjoy places that capture THAT mindset. Not the NY version which is a mix of all these differnet trends that somehow are trying to define "the rave/dance culture" when in reality..the culture is simple. take off those sunglasses at night. Put you shirt back on. Stop giving dirty looks @ people who bump into you...and actually start enjoying all the music and dont just go to hear "those pumpin ktu tracks" that make all the girlies run to the dance floor. AND HOW FUNNY IS IT, WHEN A MAJOR DJ COMES TO THE CITY, 50% BASH HIM YET THOUSAND OF PEOPLE (THE SAME WHO DID THE BASHING) GO TO SEE THEM JUST BECAUSE OF THE NAME. When you have perfectly good talent (if not even "better" talent ..locally).

what ever happened to the ORIGINAL MTV. Music- Shows on Music- Music News, etc etc. NOW IS ALL CRAP! I was so happy when they came out with MTV2. Originally it was just a station with nothing but random music videos. It would go from NIN to Backstreetboys to Metallica to Biggie. IT WAS GREAT. Just something to have playing in th background.BUTT NOOOOOo3 months later they turned it into just ANOTHER mtv. Rotating the same crap from MTV1
