i have the sly and the family stone - dance to the music ( layo and bushwacka mix ) ... but i dont have the DH edit ive heard it a couple of times in clubs and i thought i had it....but everytime i would hear it i would go home and listen to the version i have and they are quite different.... i figured someone REmixed the layo and bushwacka mix and i later found out that it was the howeller. ever since ive been dying to get that mix. that track is a fucking bomb.

before starting going to arc ... i was hearing stories about danny talking on the mic and i was like wtf... that shit seemed so catering hall dj behavior but then i came and witnessed the man himself and the music he played was PHENOMENAL to say the least.... that club, that vibe, that sound system... it was like a perfect armony...aahhhhh the memories i wasnt bothered by him talking on the mic because he wouldnt ABUSE it .. he would just reveal the name of a song or comment about something.... sometimes a dj will drop a BOMB and you would kill for him to come on the mic and tell you the name, artist and remixer...danny would do that.... u wont hear danny say some bullshit like : wassup people?? hows everyone doing?? once again a shout out to ray ray and big steve.. album in stores november 24th.. i love it when i go to his parties and around 5ish 6ish he comes on telling everybody to get ready cuz the party is just getting started... thats how u know he's about to get evil.

thats fucking nice man but i doubt ill be in attendance. its just that crobar is raping me financially. ive spent an entire week's paycheck just this past friday for sasha & digweed ( that 50$ cover to begin with was ridiculous ) and i will be going there this friday for howells as well. i can't afford to be going out almost every week especially with the summer around the corner. gotta save up for yet another eurotrip.

wow... time goes by so frickin fast i remember dj ziggy from arc. i always used to see him over there. this one time we started talking, he introduced himself and told me that hes a dj from staten island hoping to make it big and i asked him how old was he. i dont remember exacty what he said but something along the lines of 15 16 and i was like wow. he knew tons of industry people over there. he got me into the booth and we took some pictures with lee burridge. this was the time when spektrum - kinda new ( tiefschwarz ) came out and everybody wanted to get their hands on that new bomb. i remember burridge played it and i asked lee what the name of that track is. he said he doesnt know the name but the artist is spektrum. then i asked ziggy and he told me its named kinda new and even sent it to me the next day. awesome guy. he even had a couple of shows on proton. great track selection. i will definitely come and show my support if he gets a bigger gig somewhere.
