There was no Techno And trance, Prior to House, house came from a Disco area, And it Came From NYC< if u do not know this, then Buy a book, i am older then most here, i and i saw the Tail end of the late 80's here in NYC, The things that were going on in clubs here Shaped the rest of the country, and each area took on there own sound. Not to mention, SF was a gay club, (how funny huh) and mostly Black in its Start, it was the first Club i ever got hooked by, and it was the first room i ever "Werked" Twilo can not be compared to the orig SF,as by the time Twilo opened, SF was over preaty much, Time seems to change all, But this was ALL started here in NY, Yes ofcourse London and such had "new dancing" scene's that sprang from the NY Disco scene, prior to Disco, But it had no direction, and was more "new wave" then DANCE... Its a shame to see what the name "sound factory" has been turned into, ALOT of us Think it was in poor taste to use the name, when the Direction of the space, and its people Went Uptown> the SF of your generation.

i also remember the first night i went there, The grand Re-opening, i was a baby, prior to it opening the entire city was Talking about this new spooky Massive club that was gonna open on the west side, Everyone Wanted to get in, the line went from 12thAve (west side highway) to 11th, and wrapped around the corner! SoundFActory (Spirit,Twilo) was DEAD! that night. And you could not drice down 27th, Because it was filled with people, The entire street was Filled with people, Screaming at the door guy, and little old me, PRob 14-15? at the time was scared to death, lol we got in Because my Best friend at the time, use to Fuck the Door guy there, who use to work at The Mudd club. im old, lol

so i guess i am wrong? Very odd... i Stopped going to Tunnel, After Junior left, early 90's And part of me remember's it before they renovated it in like 92"? It use to be all open, and the fuzzy room, And Back room, use to be open Train Tracks, that you could not walk on.., Then they renovated it, and built those rooms, back there.. the dance floor also had little catwalks, like a few feet from the Dance floor, So that people walking, could get by, with out being on the dance floor, i have a pic, if only i could Figure out how to send it. lol? i still remember seeing danny on friday...huh?
