i would like to know, if junior came out and said that he is done with jerome and takes on a reputable manager/promoter, would you give his parties another chance.
It's the effect of a change in management (exciting party/concept/place/you-name-it) that will move people, not the mere fact that the management changed.

Hiro is ruling the gay nightlife on Sundays. It is a great party in a beautiful and big venue. All the gay kids go there, and it is packed weeks after weeks.
That "Room Service" party seems like an ill guided attempt which I don't expect to last very long!
At this point, the rule for most people is 'save money, time, and energy and avoid any JVM event'. It was fun when it lasted, but it's done and over with. Everyone moved on I'm afraid.
And now the fake Pacha ad, lying about Vernessa, the retarded non-existent website, and DJ Jerome Farley??? Stupidity that leaves you speechless!

Don't waste your time, Webster Hall's a nightmare. The only time it could be interesting is for a party totally off-hours, anytime no clueless moron would think to go (i.e. Friday and Saturday night).

It would be quite shady if they faked the loss of the lease (knowing they would get a 1 year extension) just to get rid of the gay party on saturdays. I don't know the details though.I dont think its shady. If they got a lease extension they must be damn stupid to keep that place closed. It would be shady if they would re-open their Saturday Gaynights. Who in here really cares about hip-hop parties.let them have it. hahaha

To bring my 2 cents to this thread, I think Rauhofer's okay. I'm not a big fan, but I heard Brett Henrichsen (sp?) once at Roxy and it was just unbearable. I felt like I was a in a club in the middle of Nebraska, the music so damn intolerable.
The split Blair-Rauhofer is like a split between the worse and the better of what was Roxy. I'll be at the opening of Work I think.
