(sorry, i'm not from NY, but just moved)I was contemplating flying back to Los Angeles for PVD for NYE's b/c I figured NY won't be able to muster anything halfway decent.And judging by the venue response, I'm figuring that I'm right! And for the record, Tiesto is #1, whether you like it or not... he's the best at what he spins, if you think differently so be it. But it isn't just dj mag that thinks he's #1.Personally, as much as I know Oaky is played out, gone main stream and his recent tracks stink up the joint (ok, not my taste), he spun one of if not the best set I've heard all year @ the Mayan this year. Yep better than PVD, Sasha, Tiesto, Dan, Lawrence, Egil, Ferry, Picotto, Fontaine...So I guess I'll be there @ Exit for Oaky, to give him the benefit of the doubt... But what is really F up is that The world is 21 and over and the Advanced Tickets start at $250, then $300 and finally $400. I love tiesto and everything but I think he is alienating a major part of his fan base by playing at The World.
