It is the same thing you idiots. The only difference is that percocet has tylenol in it. They are both made of oxycodone, so how does it make any sense when you say that oxy makes you sick and percocet doesnt . Is that tylenol giving you an extra buzz or something, and making you feel completly different? Doubt it!!!!!!!! Try to make sense the next time you post a message like that. So if you did 4 10 percs you might get as sick as if you did a 40 oxy.Also when people crush or chew up the Oxycontin, they screw up the time release mechanism and could overdose because they get one big dose at a time, instead of the medicine being slowly released into the bloodstream.To put it another way if you have 6 screwdrivers (shot of vodka, and Oj) in an hour you might be sick but if you take six shots of vodka in one sitting you probably will be sick.i would rather have percs then an oxy because i can regulate how much i have, instead of breaking up one pill where you might get 20, 25,30 mgs I can eat two pills where i know i am getting 20 mill.So take your own advise and make sense before you post. What is the difference in taking two 10/325 percocets or taking one 20mg oxy. There is no difference. So I still think it is silly when people act like they are so different. THERE NOT!!!!!!! I was diagnosed with MS, and I get both percocet and oxy prescribed to me for my pain, i know all about the meds, so please do not try to explain to me the difference in the meds, because there isnt any except for the tylenol. What i am talking about are 40 and 80mg oxy's. i haven't seen anything lower in 4 or 5 years. I would eat 20 if I could find them but there is more money to be made in 80, and if you are going to run the risk you should make the most money you can. As for regulating i do not have a script, all that is around are 80's. I can not eat, sniff, suck on an 80 without getting sick. my only option is to cut it up and there is where it is hard to regulate. Also if I am at a bar or club when i reach in my pocket i know i am getting 10 mg with a perc. Most of the time I am out when i take them so with an oxy i have to cut it up before i go out and then put it in a bag.i do not think you can od off an 80 (maybe if you had no tolerance and sniffed the whole thing, but most people would get sick. Unless your my friends then you can eat 80's like chicklets.Now i am not sure if percs or vics have a time release, but i know oxys do. When we chew them or crush them (and peel the wrapper off) we fuck up the time release. So we are getting everything at once. That could also make you sick compared to percs or vics.Anyway i gave these things up because they are more addicting then percs, and you can say all you want about them being the same but I have seen more people completly fucked on oxys. I dont think the class action suit will get too far since 99% who were harmed by the drug or became addicted to it most likely did not use it as it 's prescribed. There are rumors that the 80mg oxy will be discontinued... like the 160's that were out for about a month...Class action suits against drug makers are rampant right now....... viagra .......... wellbutrin......phenteramine....xenical.... glocophage...paxil.. everyone has a case against somebody. These cases never get very far.... The last successful class action against a drug was the Phen Phen craze.... I personally know someone who was part of that class action..... she wound up with something like $75 when all was said and done. Class action suits makes tons of money for lawyers and peanuts for plaintiffs.... there a loong history of lawyers preying on anything medical....
