Yes it is. I went on the Fascination last year. 4 day cruise from Miami to Nassau and back. It was fun. The Fascination is a little old, but if you want a just a quick/long weekend thing, it's not bad. Fly down to Miami on a Friday morning, was home by midnight Monday I think.

Oh and I won back all the money I spent on airfair and cruise ticket in the casino on the ship

:D

not all carnival ships are old, i went on the legend last year, first sailing was on august. Carnival is for the most part cheaper.

What you need to do is go on a cruise in march, try to stay away from february vacation or april vacation i you do not want kids. I would do a western caribean, one that goes to cozomel and stays until midnight. Those ones usually tend to be more partyish. You also go to grand caymen, fantastic, and jamaca, scum hole with good drugs. I guess 4 day cruises tend to be a younger crowd because they are cheaper.

I have been on 4, all carnival, and have had a good time every time. But it is hit or miss. I have been lucky and there was always people my age on the boat that were for the most part cool(, but i am sure there will be a time when i am stuck with idiots and will want to jump ship.

Cruises can be fun, but they can also be boring as hell. There is only so much food you can eat and only so much time you can spend laying in the sun.

I have never been on ROYAL CARRIBEAN but i always thought theycateredto the older, as in 50-123, range where carnival more to the younger crowd. You do end up getting the more of a trailer park atmosphere sometimes on carnival, that you would probably not get on royal caribean because of the price.

How great must it be to live in miami and take cruises from there, no air fare last minute deals. Last time i was on there was some hot cuban girls that paid 500 less a person then i did. They did have nice asses so i was not complaining.

This is true, when we docked in Nassau, there were like 4 other cruise ships there besides Carnival. There was Royal Carribean, Celebrity X, Norwegian and something else. Basically the people we talked to from the other ships when they were docked at port said the ships were mostly older people, and Carnival seems to have the best mix of people.

I think that's what they call "sea legs"

I know exactly what you're talking about. I was on the Fascination too, after we got back to Miami me and my girlfriend were walking down Ocean Drive and I looked at here and I was like "Do you feel that?" she's like yup. I think being on the boat for like 3 or 4 days fucks your equilibrium up so when you back on solid ground you're still used to that motion of the ocean, however slight it might be.
