As for the Syd Barrett years, "Interstellar Overdrive" still fucks me up, although the production quality is so late 60s. Oh yeah, can't forget "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun". The whole Atom Heart album is really good, and so is Animals. I'm still to discover the majority of their albums but the ones that I know, I TRULY LOVE.. It's like a drug. I need it once in a while as if my ears are begging to hear another guitar solo or Waters/Guilmor's voices.. I've never had any other band affect me that way and it's an amazing feeling.
