wilt chamberlain's career rebounding. something like 24 thousand rebounds. which means, if u played all 82 games for 24 years straight and averaged 12 rebounds a game consistently, you would still fall short.

what r some other records that u guys think we won't see broken??

Let's put some of these records into perspective. They were accomplished in a different era. I mean, seriously, Cy Young pitched 750 complete games. Will any pitcher in our era even pitch IN 750 games? Some pitcher named Old Hoss Radbourn or someshit, won 59 fucking games in one season. Alot of these 'records' are obscure.

We should be discussing modern-day records.

Joe D's hitting streak will almost definitely be broken. Perhaps Ichiro or Pujols.

How about Wayne Gretzky's 2,857 points? Gordie Howe is second in career points with only 1,850. That's more than 50 percent more points for Gretzky than Howe. If you look at all other major sports, there is no one who is first in a statistical category who has 50 percent more anything than the player who is 2nd.

But of course, we do not care about hockey or any other sport that is not baseball.

Personally, I don't see anyone breaking Ryan's record of 7 no-no's. Since 1975, only Nomo and Randy Johnson have more than 1 no hitter. But since, a couple of you queermo's mentioned that already I'll choose another one.

Rickey Henderson's 1406 stolen bases is almost un-breakable. Considering the guy who is second (Lou Brock) has 40% LESS SB's, I'd say it's untouchable.

hahahah. I hear ya I can not wait, but night game in new york in april, its going to be like 12 degrees. Add the fact that most baseball players are pussbags mostly pitchers. I am actully glad pedro isn't here he would get lit up in this weather. Atleast fat boy has some padding.

Doesn't Gretzky hold the record for "most records held by an individual" or something like that?

p.s. Another untouchable record -- Cy Young's career losses
