ljd161616
i have no idea how all these new clubs are going to survive to tell u the truth..... i hope they do... but it seems that there will be to many options and none of the 3 actually 4 now... space. twilo, sf miami, and crobar 24, how will they all pack out... unless they are hoping for south beach circa 99... maybe
philippio
i have no idea how all these new clubs are going to survive to tell u the truth..... i hope they do... I hope they don't. And they probably won't. Luckily, all these condos are popping up in the downtown area. They are forcing the patios of all these places to close. Seeing how Miami is obsessed with patios (5 years after they became big in Ibiza), many people will stop going to all these places. This will force them to close. You might start seeing parties moving back to the beach.

pod
The entertainment district downtown is a government-sanctioned area. Patios are downtown. Anyone wants to have a rational debate about Miami club laws and regulations, don't hesitate to PM me.

philippio
THE BEACH IS OVER,,,, done finished............ gone to hip hop.. and closes at 5 am......Then the downtown clubs will have to focus on a different way to make money (without patios). In any case, patios ceased to be a strategy for differentiation about 2 years ago.

Anyone have any info on the club's grand opening? It has not open yet, but any gossip about the place would be appreciated.http://www.twilomiami.com/http://www.twilomiami.com/flashintro.html
mfiorellino
WOW TWILO.....those were the days in NYC!!!!I agree! I think Twilo in downtown Miami's a good fit. The Twilo in New York was also in a gritty location and focused on the music and not on bottle service and VIP.My only fear is that this club will succumb to the Miami Syndrome. It'll be hot for a month or two and then it'll change formats for hip-hop. I hope that doesn't happen.
