djmasterweb
The funny part of this, however, is that a very select few actually know *why* Mr. Freeze was included in the VH-1 show. I do have first hand knowledge, and it's almost as disturbing as Mr. Freeze's spelling abilities. Suffice it to say, the merits of his "accomplishments" had little to do with it. marcblemberg
Let me guess: it's "true hip-hop" when VH1 honors the drug dealers, gang members and hookers, yet OPM is a "fake" spot because you claim that's they're crowd?Educate me here Freeze. Would you consider any of these guys "hip-hop?"Tupac (gang member)Notorious B.I.G. (drug dealer)Eazy-E (drug dealer)Ice-T (drug dealer, gang member, pimp)Ol' Dirty Bastard (armed robbery, attempted murder)Raekwon (drug dealer)Becuse they all received VH1 "Hip-Hop" honors just like you...you got a good point there.mr freezerock steady crew

detn8or
I do have a question....Why does OPM use metal detectors, if they have never had problem.... they are the only club in a casino that does that.... if they have never had a problem then that is a pretty racist move... djmasterweb
I do have a question....Why does OPM use metal detectors, if they have never had problem.... they are the only club in a casino that does that.... if they have never had a problem then that is a pretty racist move...We at OPM do not use metal detectors. However we wand people before they go upstairs. And we hire uniformed police officers to secure the outside of the club. It's a proactive approach to good security. We always strive to provide a safe environment for our patrons. And, particularly in a hip-hop setting, it's always smart to send a message that we have zero tolerance for knuckleheaded activity. It has worked too. OPM is probably the safest club in all of Las Vegas. There have been nearly zero incidents in THREE years. And there have been no weapon related altercations at all. The ironic part is that the biggest reason we go WAY above the call of security duty, is that we need to overcome the prejudices of people who fear what they don't know. djmasterweb
Last night was unbelievable. We had a two to three hour line to get in almost all night. And then Too $hort (who actually is a pimp) and Hoodstarz showed up with Mad Linx from B.E.T. and put on a 45 minute impromptu performance free of charge. Too $hort brought 20 HOT chicks in the booth. It was insane. Everyone said it was a great night and a real achievement for Hip-Hop in Vegas.Mr. Freeze, you probably don't know anything about Short, but he was putting out records in the Bay while you were dancing with Irene Cara.1983: Don't Stop Rappin' 1985: Players 1987: Raw, Uncut, and X-Rated 1988: Born to Mack (Gold) 1988: Life Is...Too $hort (Multi-Platinum) 1990: Short Dog's In The House (Platinum) 1992: Shorty The Pimp (Platinum) 1993: Get In Where You Fit In (Platinum) 1993: Greatest Hits, Vol. 1: The Player Years, 1983-1988 1995: Cocktails (Platinum 1996: Gettin' It (Album Number Ten) (Platinum) 1997: Greatest Hits 1999: Can't Stay Away (Gold) 2000: You Nasty (Gold) 2001: Chase the Cat 2002: What's My Favorite Word? 2003: It's About Time 2003: Married to the Game 2006: Pimpin' Incorparated CD/DVD (mixtape) 2006: Pimpin Incorporated (Screwed & Chopped) (mixtape) 2006: Gangsters and Strippers CD/DVD 2006: Blow the Whistle

greenie
Freeze: still waiting to videos, photos, web links, anything to back up a single claim you've made about OPM or any place else in this thread.Still waiting to hear your explanation of how you can give credit to the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors for being "real" while OPM and any other club is "fake."Still waiting for you to prove yourself by actions and not words.Masterweb: I'm trying to picture 20 women squeezing into that booth of yours (both levels, I assume). I could give a shit whether or not that's "hip-hop," it sounds like a great sight to behold!
djmasterweb
Mr. Freeze, you never heard of Too $hort and you're trying to school people on Hip-Hop? He released SIX PLATINUM solo albums in a ROW! And three gold albums as well. And your argument about sending people home drunk (in Vegas) was classic. Thanks. The entertainment value of your posts make up for your biting of my site.
