Pacha @ Miami Winter Music Conference 2008

After years of hosting successful nighttime parties in Miami, Pacha has finally decided to host her first full day/night party. On Friday the 28th March the Shelborne Beach Resort poolside and Club Shine will host the inaugural Pacha Miami Festival.

No single venue epitomizes the Miami Winter Music conference more than the Shelbourne Hotel, with its stunning pool, trendy bars, one of a kind Lounge and stylish club fitted with the legendary Steve Dash Custom sound inside and out; it is the perfect place to capture the spirit of Pacha Ibiza in Miami

An exclusive Pacha Pool Party will commence from eleven in the morning and continue eleven at night, followed by an exclusive party in nightclub Shine. Expect stunning swimwear and stylish shades by day. Followed by dazzling dresses and VIP hedonists by night.

Confirmed guest DJ’s include Sander Kleinenberg, David Morales, Frankie Knuckles and Axwell spinning alongside Pacha residents such as Sarah Main, Juan Diaz and a special live performance by Goldfish. More MAJOR act’s to be announced soon so stay tuned for updates.

Book early to avoid missing out on the hottest ticket for conference 2008 - All guests of the Shelborne will be granted comp VIP entrance to all events all week long - call the shelborne direct @ 305 531 1271

you'll have everyone from morales, to axwell, ingrosso, sander, ect ect ect... and so many more dj's plus a very special 45 minute performance poolside by non other than grammy award winner, Macy Gray - this day will be special - dancers, props, decor all flown in direct from Ibiza - this is THE DO NOT MISS event of the week imo:balloon:

Sounds awesome, this and the HOPE event are two events I will not be missing, and all I have to do is walk down stairs. Nice!!!

So what people are going to be spinning during the day (at the pool I'm assuming) for the Pacha party, and which ones at night (in Shine) for the Def Mix party. I'm seeing the same djs listed for both parties and just trying to figure it out.

the tix have not been put up for sale yet. when they sell out, you still see the event listed - you just can't buy the tix.

no presales will be up live by tonight or tomorrow at the latest on wanttickets.com/shelborne - capacity of the pool is about 2k - steve dash will be doing the sound and it will be INSANE. for bathrooms we have 6 poolside plus 3 portable toilets out there so there will be no issue... we've also changed the setup with the club so there will be lines to get back into shine after using the rest room

for the question on lineups... this day is presented by both def mix and pacha.... the def mix artists will be playing poolside sets but their main sets will be for the night in shine... david and frankie will perform both poolside though and in shine with completely different sounding sets...

any other questions??

Pacha vs Radio 1... any thoughts?

I pick the pacha party, hands down. Saw Pete Tong about 10 times over the last 5 months, and while he's good, he plays the same kind of sets all the time. Need something new, so this party is perfect for me...
