pwoofo Posted August 3 Report Share Posted August 3 it was looking like a dark dark august with GC at LL cancelled and then mekka going kaput- this is definitely cool. roxy's a lot roomier than LL and doesn't have the same problems with the city. the only downside i can see is that security at roxy is pretty aggressive. i've seen them make harmless looking club kids take their shoes and socks off. while i know the club's just trying to protect itself, it's that kind of gestapo exit-style security that really wrecks the vibe.sigh, i'll miss how quickly the line went at LL with just the metal detector.
