stacychase
the worst is being cracked out, heading to grand central in the weeeee hours of the morning, with a friend who shall remain nameless and run into someone that you know, cause you went out with his nephew a few times...... well the cracked out person that you are with, has bought a paper and stretches out on the floor next to you both and reads the headlines and than jumps up to ride the escalator....... the person that you know makes a comment, like you both are birght eyed for 7:00 a.m. on a saturday morning..... my answer is, we took naps before we went out.....than you get on the train and talk his ear off home...... poor guy! he was leaving work at that hour....the next week you run into the nephew and his buddies and they are all asking questions about your weekend activities....ahhhhhh.... the good ole days when twilo was still alive, kicking and thriving........
dialectics
there is nothing worse then being cracked out and having to talk to people at work or having someone on your back for a deadline. you begin to question the value of life and figure it would be much easier just to crawl into a hole and die. Here is an example from my little online journal thingy:Saturday: Surprisingly not as cracked out as I should have been. For that I am grateful. Kept really busy, which is the secret to avoiding the after-e-pression. We hit this comedy club, which was the perfect antidote for seratonin depletion. Sunday: Still not cracked out, but I had issues focusing. I look after my dad on sundays. Today we rented two movies and bs'd a lot. I like my dad - he is one of the smartest people I know. Monday: Cracked out. Cracked out like you would not believe. I remember now why I stopped rolling. Being alive hurts. I wanted to go home and work on my research stuff, but I could not move. Fuck.Tuesday: Woke up feeling horrible. Figured these are the "terrible tuesdays" they keep on talking about in Newsweek. If I have to talk to anyone else I will kill them. They will all die bloody deaths for actually thinking i care about this job. Hey, at least in jail nobody would bother me about project action points.Wednesday: Finally back into the swing of things with work. I still hate it there, but at least I am coding and being functional. Steph and I will be friends for the rest of our lives......Saturday: One of the happiest times I remember. She's smoking on the stoop. Asks, "Oh, how was breakfast." Well how do you answer that one? I'm doing my best not to sick up on her just from thinking about eating, and manage a "Great! I love getting up early on Saturday's to get the day going."Then, the next day, Sunday, i stumble home at around noon. i'm all in black, kind of nice cloths actually. guess who's on the stoop? "Oh, I didn't know you went to church. That's really nice." Now, not only was i doing the oposite of what she was thinking, I'M FRIGGIN' JEWISH!!! DUH! I couldn't really let that one slide. So i told her i was on my way back from breakfast.
