  1. Chucky's always entertaining. He's definitely nowhere nearly as adorable as he was in the first 2 Child's Plays; his face is all butchered up now. He's come a long way since the days of pursuing Andy Barclay. I love all the installments in the series.
  2. I'm going to get blazed beyond belief and go see this flick. I've always loved Chucky.
  3. Study as much as you can, but if all else fails, cheat. Accounting is tough shit. I started college as an accounting major, got up to Intermediate II, then abandoned the major all together.
  4. That's an interesting way to put it. I'll be seeing you guys on Friday night for this one!
  5. Last week was great. Nagle turned out a serious set, Rob James got on for a while and represented his home turf, then Whitmore closed out with some wicked house selection. There's nothing I can think of that's negative about this party - everything since opening night has been great, and I hope more heads on Long Island realize what this party is really about, and what it's trying to achieve. We've all proven that we can support and maintain a good party on the Island if its worth keeping alive, and this party most definetly meets that criteria. I haven't heard Mimic in a long time, so it will be refreshing to hear him get loose and drop some funky beats at Nation. Maybe he'll drop the original "Dirty House Beats" mix........ Rick's proven to be a remarkable talent, both in the booth and in the production studio, and I hope he continues to enjoy the success he's been enjoying - he definitely deserves it. When he opened for Ritchie Santana a few weeks back, he threw down a wicked set that I really couldn't quibble with in any way. Look forward to seeing the Nation squad this Friday night, and every Friday night thereafter. That includes you too, Vaughn!
  6. Tekno, I'll be the dark-skinned, bald-headed, goatee wearing guy in the grey long sleeved dress shirt and black slacks. If you don't see me inside, I'll be outside with Matt at some point. We've all been chilling at the same party since it started, so we might as well introduce ourselves formally, lol. See you guys tonight.
  7. I used to listen to Gabber. I've always liked it, even in light of my overall preference for house. I loved Rotterdam Terror Corps, Stunned Guys, Neophyte.....
  8. Can't forget the Halloween theme remixes that were released (on white label, I think). I have the record laying around somewhere - it has that old Dr's voice (the guy who pursued Michael Meyers throughout the halloween flicks) on it. If there was a name for the label that released the track, it escapes me at this moment. A little Horrorist action wouldn't be bad for Halloween either. How about something along the lines of "Flesh is the Fever." I always liked that track.
  9. Wuddup Houten. Nice running into you last Friday at the battle. try not to out do yourself tonight. Whitmore's going to light shit up tonight.
  10. Mike Whitmore should bring some good flavor to Nation. I like the experimenting with different NY talents, especially good ones. We have so many different talents in NY to choose from, so might as well bring them in and give them a forum to show their talents. I've heard Mike lay some shit down before on 2 separate occasions, and he's extremely talented and underrated.
  11. Maybe it stands for San Francisco. I mean, Cali is porn land anyway.
  12. This past Friday at Nation was an incredible night. I can't even begin to describe how much of a treat it was for me to hear two of my favorite djs truly enjoying themselves in the booth, doing what they love first and foremost. Razor, you were nasty beyond belief, and you are so brilliant in the dj booth, it's not even funny. You're one of the most technically gifted, diverse djs I've ever heard spin. Some of the vocals you dropped were just the perfect mix between passionate and wicked. Overall, flawless track selection and mixing. Rob, you stepped into that booth and made us feel your presence, plain and simple. Some of the beats you dropped were so fuckin dirty, I couldn't even dance to them; I just stood there and listened. You dropped the heaviest, dirtiest, most intimidating beats throughout the night. Ever since I first started listening to you spin at Freedom, I've always loved the way you spin as if you're letting some animosity out on the tables - as if you are challenging anyone to contest you in that booth. I have yet to hear a dj who can drop the quality of beats that you do, and in my opinion, regardless of what anyone thinks, there aren't many djs who can fuck with you when you're in the booth. You take your love for house music very seriously, and that shit always comes across in every one of your sets, in every single song you drop. Also, thanks for dropping "Roaches" near the end of the night - it was a real treat to hear that right before I broke out. I feel privileged to have been present at such a great, intimate night at Nation, where the small crowd had two remarkable talents all to themselves for the night, without any of the unneeded bullshit to spoil the event. The night was incredible, and lasted until about 6 a.m. At no point during that time did the beats ever cease from being anything but wicked. Jesse, Matt, Deniz, and the rest of the Nation squad - thanks for the continuous hospitality and endless efforts to bring these quality nights back to Long Island. You guys continue to make genuine attempts every single week, despite how dismal things may seem at times - that, in itself, is truly selfless, highly admirable, and worthy of respect. And thanks to both of our house music veterans for a simply perfect show. Next week, Dj Mike Whitmore will be stopping in to mix things up nicely.
  13. Hope you come down tonight Kenl. If we run into each other, we'll definitely get some shots going.
  14. The ring card women are giving blowjobs away? Nation is always providing such great incentives for its patrons! I am looking forward to a FUCKIN night of beats.
  15. Damn Disk. Did you call back after that hang up, or did you just give up in disgust?
  16. Maybe she edited what was written beneath her avatar to be peculiar.
  17. He called yo momma a garden tool.....Oooooooooh!
  18. It's good that Italianp is taking this all in good stride. She has a healthy personality, it seems.
  19. I've met Gabe, and as chill as he is, there certainly isn't anything novel or exceptional about his disposition, which is not to say that he isn't cool as shit. People like Gabe, who are extremely enthusiastic and passionate about the genres of house that they love, who basically live and breathe nightlife culture, and who are selfless and cool as shit, are most definitely a dime-a-dozen. Gabe may be the exception within the world of house music and nightlife enthusiasts that you know, but certainly not in mine (or in the world of many others I know).
