i make a point to NEVER go out with a girl who still has feelings for her ex. it's never a good idea cuz, no matter what, she's gonna think about him and wonder "what if" as far as the beatings and beratings, that's just something no one can explain. Some girls seem to like to be treated like shit. Seems like you were too good for her man. Look at it as you let her go, she can keep the drama with her, and you will find someone better. You gotta let her come to YOU now, man. The decisions up to her whether she wants to stay with an asshole who beats her, or with a good guy who lives in long island! (i used to live there too...lol) stay strong!

well stymie, everyone's different, and everyone has different needs it works both ways: you and your g/f decide to move in together. you discover you can't stand each other and break up but if you waited till you were married, you can't just pick up and leave. You'd be forced to grow up and accomodate each of your differences. What's the point in moving in together when you're sleeping over every other night anyway?
