  1. wow...i'm suprised jr's actually allowing to have the party in the basement...he's usually a stickler for having any other talent in the house when he's dj'ing...
  2. He cancelled Pacha due to the fact that Jr. cancelled the Tel Aviv event he was supposed to do with him. An announcement of who is opening for Jr. has not been made yet to replace Offer.
  3. never has JP ever played anything termed "deep house"
  4. ah yes, little high school degree, p/t receptionist...you are just so much cooler than me...i'm jealous
  5. how did a gun get in the club?....simple, no searches going on in that place anyways, even on a regular night so people don't even need to hide their drugs and wallah! instant long hours for afterhours!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. paradise garage was in a sense the first really true club, hence why the legend of it, and with larry as the dj, he is being included - but the fact remains he was a major drug addict that destroyed his life and ruined his music career and caused a lot of strife for mel - great thing to celebrate...
  7. are you sure they were actually girls - there is a large populus of trannies still frequenting JP events....
  8. make a cue sheet and use nero or another cd program that can utilize cue sheets to burn the cd..... do a google search for burning cds using cue sheets to get examples, etc.
  9. yet another same "tired" comment over and over again... give respect to these actual pioneers and not always keep rehashing the same response - talk about bias...
  10. you should be really careful with walking alone out of the clubs - try to walk out with friends in the future - way too much f'd up stuff goes on when they spot girls walking alone
  11. The "Kurfew" crew still holds events that are 18+ Here is the link... http://www.kurfew.com/event.htm With Gay Pride just around the corner, you should pick up an HX & Next b/c that will give you all the info. you need about any parties that are 18+, etc. www.hx.com www.nextmagazine.net Splash in Chelsea also has "Campus Thursdays" for the younger crowd as well
  12. could you be anymore clueless.... just have lawlessness and let the clubs get away with not following regulations and codes? Crobar exceeds capacity/fire regulations non-stop and at some point if there was a fire or something, so many people would die because of that. Drugs are still illegal last time I checked as well
  13. ...and then there are those w/out college degrees or working just retail barely making rent and jealous ...yeah, I'm sure the poor would say "no thanks" if someone tried to give them an armani suit and lines of coke LOL!
  14. give him a break....fags talk just the same about other guys....
  15. que tweak....paranoia!! ...goes well with the promotion of this event actually...
  16. steroids much *cough cough* you'll need a dildo to wear since your package is probably shriveled up from injecting
  17. if you believe that people are not doing drugs at Shelter, you are fooling yourself. And um...two years ago Timmy left for awhile for rehab as well.... The music isn't the only reason those househeads are able to stay for that many hours...
  18. does really matter - he is a dj...that's what matters.
  19. rather than be critical...how about you name some fo the "good" djs you would like to be there
  20. dumb...like the comment about the name hasn't been done the past 3 years... gheesh
  21. He just spun at Crobar this past Sunday Evolve montly at Crobar...
  22. yeah...I'm sure that was the "only" reason you were able to close out the party...unless they call the *ahem*...."music" these days LOL
  23. well yeah, the dj should be dancin' and getting into the groove of their set, but what's annoying is when people then take that as watching as if they are at a concert...wasted real estate on the dancefloor and most of the time they just stand their & watch and don't dance. That's so annoying.
  24. The djs SHOULD play up there so there is more room to dance. This is NOT a concert folks and staring at the dj while spinning is ridiculous. The music is the focal point, NOT the dj waving his hands in their getting attention. And people that just stand on the dancefloor facing the dj is a waste of space.
