not for nothing, but I was expecting more out of a 10-veteran and front-line producer of techno. His set was very fomulaic; hard driving beat, cut low end, tweek and blast low end...he never went off that path. yeah its cool the first couple times, but for me, there's more to crafting a set than that. Very much like when I used to go out and hear Nostrum. Good music, good energy, but after awhile, every production sounded the same. i'm also a music snob.

i thought he was repetitive and formulaic. not what i was expecting from one of the big boys.

try the fulton street mall in BK. dope kicks that arent for sale in manhattan.

they honor reservations tho. if its a big party, make reservations early. they don't allow more than 8 ppl in a party...i got 10 once, but it was crazy cramped..

go to the comedy cellar in the village. its the best and most consistent comedy club i been to...colin quinn, dave attel and all the snl guys are always there. cheap cover and cheap beer too. Has never let me down. comedycellar.com

mike, No Malice Palace (old delia's) is a very chill, relaxed spot in the E.Vill. It is set up apartment style, chairs, tables. Go there and move on to either L.E.S. or more E. Vill. You could probably hit 5 or 6 bars in one night over there. most if not all the places bogB mentioned are real good. Industry is phat too, so is opaline but make sure u know the promotion at that place. nights change drastically. I don't think Bauhaus was mentioned either.

I agree with the publicists estimate. I've been walking around there, snuck my head in again yesterday, and it looked pretty unfinished. From a construction standpoint Late Nov sounds more feasible than any date in Oct. No need to hide the dates 530west.
