  1. Definitely The Little Drummer Boy...that has been my fave for as long as I can remember... It'd make a cool remix too! =)~ ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  2. Little Earthquakes is the best album by Tori Amos imo. I loooove that cd! "China" is my current fave track... I have to agree with Cazz that she is sooo talented, everytime I listen to her, I want to run out and learn to play the piano! If you want to listen to some classic beautiful female voices, Ella fitzgerald sings like an angel, and Billie Holliday is like butta! ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  3. I can't say that I agree with you both... I do not think of wanting to be with someone as a game at all. It is no game when I'm dealing with matters of the heart. It's something I take seriously, and I have to say that if more people felt the way I do, maybe there wouldn't be so many broken hearts. If I were so lucky to actually get to be with this guy, that would be sooo much more thrilling to me than where I am now... Alone. ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  4. Actually, I know of a sweet, nice guy whose clothes I would like to tear off... ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  5. Love is a foot massage, a tweet lick and breakfast on the table when I get home from the club... ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  6. Thank you ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  7. I think he is spoken for... Thanks, I wish I could go, for it that is... ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  8. Did looking into his eyes take your breath away, and even the most innocent of physical contacts make your heart skip a beat? Was the thought of being around him exciting, yet when you were, it was bittersweet? I haven't felt this was since highschool... ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  9. Heeheehee you guys are sooo funny! I loved some of those ideas, but I think our new friend is serious. Suede, you have to get used to all the jokers on the board... ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  10. No complex, just playing a bit of devil's advocate... I admit that I was a bit turned off by the porn theme, and even dconsidered not going. I figured that the guys were going to be hornier than usual, making them even more annoying. But they are easily averted by going up to the secret room and rocking out with that cool dj up there! My b-day was OK, but I found myself getting bored easily this weekend. I think I need to take a break, try something else, and taste a bit of that variety I spoke of before. Sorry we didn't say goodbye, that was kind of rude... I will be sure to say goodbye twice the next time we part company!! ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  11. I'm all for a porn theme, but not all the time. Do they know of a little thing called variety?? There are tons of cool themes that a club can have. Plus, I really don't care to have the music stopped, so that some busted female porn star can talk about how many guys she banged in a day. If they were to have some good porn action going on, then that would be a different story. I mean, if your going to have a porn theme, I want to see some f-ing, dammit! And have some hot guys get naked!! We girls paid our darn $30, we should get something out of it too!! Thank you. P.S. Question: You say that the porn theme is "scaring away all the respectable women"... So does that mean all the women who go when it is porn theme night are not respectable?? Hmmm... ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com [This message has been edited by divalicious (edited 12-11-2000).]
  12. You express my feelings beautifully... ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  13. Whoa, excuse me, but how is all this partying going on without me, and it's my birthday weekend!!! ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  14. Although I am certainly not a pro dancer, I do loooove to dance, that is one of my passion I discovered at an early age. And with a bit of practice, I think I could very well be at competition level. And I've always wanted to take ballroom/swing/latin dance lessons. I did take some modern dance classes at Alvin Ailey, and although I was a bit clumsy the first class, I was able to keep up with everyone, and got the steps down on the first try! Yay! Oh, and JerseyTom, you're melting me with your sexy latin smile!! ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  15. I can Salsa and Merengue...I'm trying to learn to Samba, I have the hip movement (guess all the years of dancing Reggae helped me there), but the foot movements are eluding me, since I don't have anyone to teach me. It's cool to know different styles of dancing, because you can incorporate them into your dance moves at the club! ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  16. Thanks you guys, I checked out their website, and they tell you everything! I can't get 88.9 where I am, it may not be a strong enough signal, but I really want to record some of the broadcasts. Any suggestions on how to do that?? ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  17. You're sooooo baaaaad, J! I do agree with you about Buttercup though... ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  18. I'm listening to some recordings of Gatecrasher and the Essential Mix that were broadcast live on Radio 1... Ooooh those Brits are a lucky bunch! ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  19. I read about 3 books a month, mostly fiction, mystery, and sci-fi, by authors such as, Toni Morrison, Anais Nin, Eric Dickey, Crichton, Grisham, King, and some African authors... I only have one magazine subscription, Playgirl, but I don't read it. I look at the pictures, hehehe... ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  20. Thank you all sooo much... I won't be celebrating tonight, because as many of you know, I have recently lost my job and need to watch the wallet. But tomorrow I will be celebrating at Exit, and (Nicki doesn't know this) maybe a bit of after hours at Twilo or SF. ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  21. I have MCI, which uses Verizon's network, so the service is the same. Only thing is that their customer service is the worst I've dealt with. But I have a 718 cell number, so I put up with it... ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  22. A job. ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  23. You know I love you, but Doll, that is such a small minded way of thinking. ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  24. Yes Doll, you understand my point... See, that's why we get along so well. Girls play roles BIGTIME! Most people do when starting something new with someone. You are on your best behavior, you're polite and respectful... But then you get to know someone's true colors after a while. But there are some of us who can't be bothered with the stupidity of game and role playing. Some of us show our colors from day one, so as not to waste anyone's precious time... Not for nothing but people need to start getting real! Stop it with the bs-ing, the role playing, and the pretense. I wish I could meet up with a guy who was as real as I am, and who doesn't have such a small mind that he can't make decisions based on his standards and not what society has dictated. ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
  25. For those of you who responded or will respond, saying something to the effect of, "if a girl lets me have sex with her the first night, she is a slut": May I ask what judgement you all are placing on yourselves??? Do you all even have the right to judge?? It took two to tango. And if you all, with your "angelic" selves (yeah right!), are casting the slut stone at the girl, you all should be hurling some at yourselves!!! How does the saying go? Let he who is without sin cast the first stone... I've got a news flash for you all, a guy can be a slut too! ------------------ Peace Love Happiness y'all DivaliciousNYC@aol.com
