All of a sudden, I found myself taking a look back at 2000, as I'm sure we all do at this time of year. While I was thinking of the things that have happened, I realized that the year has been full of life changing events for me. In order of occurrence: Got my first car, ended 5 year relationship with boyfriend, met a new close friend, got a new job, became an aunt again, got my own apartment, lost new job, shifted career tracks... Oh, and somewhere in there, throw in that I've become an addict of this board, I've met a few new friends, and an ever increasing amount of new party buddies. As I step into the new millennium, I feel as though I've updated my life in a way, and the change feels good. I look to the near future with an eagerness, for the things I know it will bring, and for the things I hope it will bring. I would like to keep with me, the positive energy that has kept my health, free-spirit, confidence, strength, open-mind and sense-of-humor in tact. I resolve to share that energy whenever I can. Yes. If people can be close friends after being bf/gf, engaged or even after divorce, then being friends after a night of casual sex shouldn't be much of a challenge. As far as them not being able to not think about "that night", and therefore the relationship is doomed to never again be platonic... How platonic was the relationship when they were wondering what sex would be like together?
