  1. That sounds perfect, except for S&D issues. But by my calculations, they are going to suck this month. So count me in (and my record bag). ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  2. Dan, The track is called The Moove. I actually blend through two different remixes of the The Moove into the original Freestylers track that the robot voice sample is taken from - the 9 minute robot voice mega-mix! Kittie, I can make you a CD of it if you'd like, of course that means we'd have to hook up to make the delivery meow indeed! Russ, I couldn't possibly afford a denon double minidisc station. The portable suits so many needs, I really love it. Frankie, checkin ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  3. CM! You should have used 'effect' rather than 'affect' ie: His choice of words tend to damage my ear drums with more effect then the sounds pouring out of Sound Factory's speakers vs: It is quite possible that the sounds pouring out of Sound Factory's speakers might affect my hearing if not my sense of what's wrong with the world. Aight? ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  4. Pershoot I record all my sets at home onto Minidisc out of my mixer for long term storage. Then I simply go from my minidisc into my computer here at work using the line in into Soundforge. My portable Minidisc recorder does not have a digital out (none of them do it seems) so I'm forced to go analog->digital->analog->digital I've gotta buy a minidisc drive for my puter. As for the streaming, the guys at djcentral.com have just started beta-testing that portion of the site and they let me in on it. I'm impressed with the stream quality. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  5. Awe shucks, you guys are too nice. I'm happy you enjoy it. I would take it as the biggest compliment if people started making copies of my sets. Pirate me. Please! btw - if anyone wants hard copies of any of my stuff let me know. I can make CD's or tapes no sweat. especially for you kittie (doesn't she just get all the attention?) ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com

  7. at guernica? That place is the size of a shoebox! If this is true, it's a must not miss event. can anyone confirm? ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  8. thank god, finally a club with LIVE dj performances. cuz all those pre-recorded club nights are starting to wear a little thin. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  9. I was told that he won't be back until February. I'm not sure if that's true, but that is what I was told. ? ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com

  11. chump, there better be a good story to go with this one. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  12. My latest mix. Threw it together last week, I'm kinda keen on it. If someone can help me out... The second to last last track is a white label rmx of a popular song (I think). I had the record for a while before I heard the original on the radio (don't listen to much radio). If someone could tell me what the original track is called I would appreciate it. http://www.djcentral.com/users/spoony_d/dj_spoony_d-Autum_2k.asx Enjoy! Comments, applause, and disparaging remarks are all welcome. whatever d ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com

  16. oh, woe is me. Too much, way too much. must find brain. Someone call the club. I think I lost my head there. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  17. wow. that was pretty shallow. There was no water in the fountain... ruined my night. People were doing drugs at a rave... shocking. They wouldn't let me sit where I wanted... criminal. Those other people weren't there for the music.... unlike you whose major complaint is the decorations. pfft. Before you try to bitch, get real. If you want to make some real arguments, try more relavent points: How was the organization? Long lines? Expensive water? Enough free water? All dj's showed and played their scheduled set? How were the individual sets? Boring? On point? Surprising? Catch any new DJ's you've never heard and were impressed? Anyone really suck? How was the sound system? Loud enough? Clear enough? It was hot? Was there a chill out area? Was it oversold with no room to dance? Perhaps it was the commercial nature of it that offended your underground sensibilities. Didn't see that coming eh? News flash - Cream at the Big O? What the fuck did you expect. one more time: get real. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  18. You're thanking HIM for the movie I.D.??? meh, no respect. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  19. Took you a while to piece that together dear. That's actually two Saturdays straight, and will likely be three after this weekend. You gatecrasher? I gatecrasher. CUthereQT3.14 ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  20. well, I'm not shwingep, nor am I sure I know what you're talking about... but if you're asking what movie that line is from, it's Groundhog Day. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  21. Hey Jilly, uhm *blush*, I own the tetris song. It's REALLY GOOD! What can I say, I have a soft spot for oddball tracks. It's on the same bootleg with Sesam E's Treat, Ave Maria (believe it), and some Waltz -- all done up in the old school stylz. They all date back to about '93. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  22. frankie There's actually 2 hey jude remixes. One of the them is a bigbeat version, the other is happy hardcore. Not sure where you'd find the first, but I know a few people who have it on CD. The second is floating around the net, I think you can get it on napster. Don't know who does either but I could find out. They are both super duper phat. Song I'd like to hear: Theme from ROCKY! ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  23. I honestly don't know what lable that stuff would be on. It's all major label. I think their albums came out on Electra, maybe some on ZTT (or was that art of noise?) urg. You should be able to get mp3's easy online. look for: Yello Oh Yeah Bostich I've got a bunch of CD's I could copy if you're interested. It's all pretty unique music. These guys were at least as avante gaurd as Kraftwerk but way less known. Much is artsy stuff, but it's all good food for the music mind. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  24. frankie, I have a Yello fetish. I own every album up till I think their next to last. Many of them on both CD and Vinyl. I have a few individual 12"'s as well as a monster pack of all their 12" singles up to 1990 or so stamped on yellow vinyl. The Oh Yeah track is good, but not their best. A lot of their work has been sampled (by everyone), some you'd recognize ie: shouting: "EVERYBODY, LOVES SOMEBODY!" I even heard Daft Punk drop Bostich (a killer track from like 88). Everyone in the room was a little confused, but I couldn't believe how good it sounded that loud. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
  25. Title: Oh Yeah Artist: Yello I'm pretty sure the only mixes out there are by Yello. ------------------ keep it cutlary www.spoonyd.iwarp.com
