i never use "lol," unless i'm making fun of it. when on cp, i use smileys (i tend to go a little bugnuts on the smileys), and when i'm on aim, i usually indicate that i think something's funny some other way. but i don't actually laugh out loud all that much, so when i say i'm laughing, i'm being sincere.

i'm not criticizing anyone; i'm just explaining why i feel the way i do. i didn't pass judgment on you in any way. i am simply saying that we are different people, and therefore we like to be approached by others in different ways. please don't be so defensive as to think i am ever attacking anyone, and there is no need for sarcastic nicknames or smilies.

predicting negative outcomes only leads to stress and the increased likelihood of said negative outcomes . keeping an open mind allows for all sorts of, well, who knows... ? tune in tomorrow.

first of all, let me wish everyone a happy new year! i'm turning in early, like a party pooper, 'cause i have to work in the morning and 'cause i need my rest in order to party it up right tomorrow (tonight, technically) night . when last i checked, i was the only one going to spundae's event (armin van buuren, ferry corsten, derrick carter, and a whole bunch of people in the other room). has that changed? i am so looking forward to it :D ...

it's funny to me that everyone agrees with glow so emphatically, 'cause all of my friends feel the way i do about this . maybe we go out to the places we do for different reasons. i think there are big differences between dancers, people in love with the music, dj worshippers, and clubbers. a lot of people are a mix of those, but definitely more of a percentage of some factors than the others. personally, i'd say i'm a dancer first, that being almost all of it. then comes the music, then the djs, and i'm not really a clubber. for instance, i like spundae, but i will not go there unless someone i really like is spinning. and i don't go out just to meet guys. i hope someone understands what i'm talking about . but, because i come to dance - i am a dancer - it's a very special and personal thing to me. i can't just share that with someone i don't know. i can't dance with someone who doesn't love it all the way i do.

nice of you to assume you know what my life is like - i can tell you think you know all about it by the punctuation you chose (and overdid) . i've just had bad luck; met people right before i moved across the country, been led on, been used. i do go up to guys sometimes, but most of the time, they approach me.
