  1. Rob, love, what happened? It's the day of the feast of Mithras, the Druidic celebration of the winter solstice, some random Christian holiday ( ) and a week before NYE - why so down?? I won't be out of NYC *that* long! I know it sucks being single, but think how much money you've saved for yourself this month alone! Think of the cash you'd drop paying for TWO people for NYE in New York...dear lord, you could buy a frickin CAR for that much. And at least you have decks! Mine are stuck in Westchester while I'm back at home in Chicago with my thumbs up my ass (figuratively! figuratively!) desperate to get back to them. AND
  2. Are you sure? I've gotten those - they weren't particularly good but they tested as ecstasy
  3. I am flying HOME tomorrow!!! Semester's finished, now I can party in peace! I cannot fucking wait!
  4. silente

    damn!!!

*laughs* Everyone's over on IC, mouse - why would we bother with these lameass boards? Off to clubNYC
  5. I'm one step more pathetic than home. In the computer lab, working on a paper. God, only one more week til I'm free....
  6. Those things are AMAZING!! I haven't been able to find them forever, though. When are they gonna start actually marketing??? mm....dippin dots.... *drool*
  7. Regularly? Well, nothing really, anymore. I'm WAY too poor. If I could - E, coke, weed, speed, with the occasional shroom trip in there somewhere. Yeah...that should do it.
  8. fossor, how exactly does one go about getting a prescription? Do you just like, fake extreme ADD to a doctor, or are there places to go...?
  9. *drool* If you're lying I'll hurt you. This is TOO amazing
  10. I'm a student at a liberal arts college - I'm training to be unemployed. Eventually I want to be a writer, possibly for a music magazine like Ministry or something.
  11. Um. Yeah. What he said. Rob, as always, thank you for finding the words to describe unspeakably powerful beats. You're right, though - I can see him being too big for Vinyl. But, then again, a small, intimate vibe like that could be SO much more incredible than seeing him at a behemoth venue...
  12. Well...that depends what you need to do with it. If you need to be able to give details, or analyze it in any kind of meaningful way, skimming it really won't be enough. Get yourself some speed and sit down and read the whole thing. But if you just have to get the gist to be able to discuss it or whatever...that's no biggie. Skip away. *ahem* Not that I'm an expert at procrastinating, or anything. Right.
  13. msoprano, he's completely out of this world. I can't even begin to describe how incredible his set was - every minute I spent sitting down I was dying to get back out on the floor. The music was just that demanding, that captivating...it was beautiful
  14. Hey, that's what you get for being a meanie. Next time you'll think before you brag. Or you'll share, so we can brag together.
  15. CARL FRIGGIN COX!!!! That man is an absolute GOD - there's no excuse for him to not be playing in New York. He showed me a whole new world at Area 1 this summer, in just a 2 hour set - I'd pay GOOD money to see him for 10.
  16. You know, tunnelbandit, it IS the season of giving. Particularly to those less fortunate.
  17. Yep yep yep, and I absolutely loved em. I had tons of energy - stayed in the club til the lights came on - and didn't have to worry about wandering around looking all fucked up and weird. The music was AT LEAST as good as it was on E - it's a more intellectual appreciation than the very physical impressions that E gives you. Two different birds, and I'd say it depends on the DJ which is gonna be better. For Hawtin, speed was without a doubt the way to go. For Tiesto or PvD...I'd go E.
  18. That's what ya get for being all "Oops! What's this? Cocaine?! Well, goody me. I'll just tell the rest of the world who are too broke to buy any for themselves. Yippee! Free coke! Ha ha to you poor people!" Jackass.
  19. What year Adam Freeland's Coastal Breaks 2 came out??
  20. Hey, at least you guys have New York. I'll be in Chicago for NYE. Heard of ANYBODY playing there that night?? *laughs* Yeah. Exactly. Nils, how much longer are you in the UK? Are you there for NYE?
  21. Sassa, you suck sooooooooooooooooo much!!! I'd give ANYTHING to be chilling with a blunt right now. I'm spending my saturday night working on a research paper in the library. Please, somebody me!!
