  1. I just got back from exit. This was by far my best clubbing experience ever and one of my best nights ever. He played from 2:10 to 6:00. He was simply amazing. He played a lot of older songs I recognized but I didn't mind that because hearing them at a club as opposed to my home stereo system made them sound almost like new songs. I don't care what anyone says, Tiesto is my favorite DJ. The songs he spins bring out such emotion and happiness. I literally could not take the cheesy smile off my face every time I heard the next song come on. Also, I love the fact that he truly seems to love what he does. He's constantly smiling and dancing around in the booth and connecting with the crowd. It's time for me to get some sleep now.
  2. Well, technically speaking xbox isnt as powerful as todays high end pc's, but one important thing your forgetting....xbox doesnt have Windows 98, the big resource hog, bogging it down.....that maked a HUGE difference.
  3. I just got back....I stayed till he left which was 6:00 AM. He atrted at 2:10. All I have to say was amazing. Words really cant desceribe the night I had. I would have to say that was one of the best nights of my life. Of course as soon as Draper came on after Tiesto he played Rhythem Ready. It made me wanna puke. I felt like he was dishonoring Tiestos godliness by playing that song right after he left...ughhh
  4. Lets not forget about Metal Gear Solid on PS2... Metal Gear Solid for PS1 was one of the best games I've ever played. I would probably pick PS2 just for that. Although Super Smash Brothers is close.
  5. sorry had to celebarate...breakin the 3 digits still doesnt beat the 1500 i have on the car stereo message board though hehehe
  6. I havent heard all 7 but out of the ones I have heard (Tiesto, Riva, Deep Dish, Cramer, Armin Van Buren) I def like the Riva mix the best.
  7. Damn Quoth beat me to it... I was going to say definitely DJ Tiesto and Ferry Corsten..... that would be like a dream come true for me.
  8. I don't get it....why is there such a decision about who to see. JV is always in NY and hes gonna be at Roxy EVERY WEEK. Why would you pass up a chance to see another dj you really like that doesnt come aorund often for someone you can see the very next week? Variety is good.....it doesnt meant you arent a true fan if you miss him one week to see someone different.
  9. I was wondering if anyone turned that set into an mp3 and if so is there anyone who would be kind enough to send it to me. Thanx
  10. Vicious is going to be a RESIDENT. In other words he's going ot be there all ther time. I'd probably go see Scot Project. That's more of a one time thing.
  11. ::drooooooooooooool:: I can't wait to play that game....it's gonna be insane.
  12. There's a big difference....Tiesto's a lot better than Oakenfold. So anyone have any serious answers?
  13. Tiesto has some older mix cd's called "Lost Treasures". I think theres like 6 volumes. Also there's a the "Forbidden Paradise" series. Does anyone have any of these on mp3 or know where I can buy them besides the dancegrooves.com website?
  14. American Beauty and Shawshank Redeption....Patch Adams is up there too.
  15. I'm most likely going to be there. Are we going to actually have a true "meetup" somewhere in the club? Does anyone have any idea what time Tiesto will be there? If draper is afterhours does that mean Tiesto will be there early like 12 or 1 am?
  16. progressive, hard, acid, and especially uplifting trance are all great! Hard trance is great for clubs. Uplifting trance is great to listen to alone when u want to just relax and clear your mind. To me it's also very sensual. I would love to make love to uplifting trance because there is so much feeling and emotion behind it.
  17. Maybe the people u are trying to connect to has are behind a firewall also.
  18. Ok, I did a little searching and from what I can tell AIM uses various ports do do its transferring. THe only port (besides port 80) that I have seen meantioned specifically for AIM is 5190. I guess you can try that just for the hell of it.
  19. I found this on the AIM website : Q: I am not able to transfer files with one or more other users. A: This may be due to the use of a firewall on your network. A firewall is a security device on your network to prevent potentially harmful data from coming in, and to prevent certain other data from going out. Depending on how a firewall is configured, it may prevent AIM file transfer from working. There is nothing AIM can do to get around this, as it is just the feature of the firewall working as it should. However, you may be able to get around the problem by entering a certain port number in AIM's File Transfer preferences. You will need to ask your network administrator if there is such a port that will allow AIM file transfer to work (there may not be). Also, make sure that you both have the latest version of AIM.
  20. Hmmm...good question. I wish I knew the answer because the firewall here blocks it occasionally. But, the weird thing is it doesnt block my connection to everyone, just certain people. I would think that it is a specific port that AIM uses to send file transfers. Certain firewalls block certain ports so maybe with some firewalls it works and some it doesn't. I'll do some research and see what I can come up with.
  21. I saw that in the store and was very tempted to buy it. I'll probably pick it up eventually. I have the first Limelight CD and its pretty good.
  22. I don't buy vinyl so I'm not sure how good these stores are but I was in them looking for CD's the other day and it seemed like they had a good selection of records. Beyond Bass - 3rd St. between 1st and 2nd ave Dance Tracks - on the same street Eightballshop - 105 East 9th St between 3rd & 4th ave ( www.eightballnyc.com )
  23. When you make your mouth smaller it speeds up the air, thus the colder temperature. Your wide open mouth lets the air come out slower, keeping it at a more normal body like temperature.
  24. lol....i know what that bathroom joke was in reference to but I never got to see.....uhh...."it". I had fun tonight meeting all you.
